In the emails, seen by The Telegraph, Ms Rodrigues said she was disappointed that Imperial College had published a study by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering that showed Ulez cut nitrogen dioxide by less than three per cent and had achieved an insignificant impact on ozone and particulate matter.
Such research undermined the London Mayor's policy, argued Ms Rodrigues.
Prof Kelly is said to have agreed to co-write a statement with her that contradicted the research and positioned Ulez as having helped to 'dramatically reduce air pollution'.
"...if you don't like them, I have others."
But we should totally trust scientists on everything else, right?

Years ago there was a study that found that hot housing children from nursery school age produced worse educational outcomes than delaying any serious education until the kids were six years old. As I recall, the Labour education secretary of the time found the study highly disappointing. The problem being the study, not the government's misguided education policy. This is the same kind of thing, if reality doesn't conform with your ideas it must be reality that is at fault.
Didn't another Dr Kelly meet a sticky end when he disagreed with a left-wing dictator hell-bent on destroying this country?. Be afraid Prof Kelly, be very afraid.
Jaded
Coming from Imperial College I would have thought that on the basis of modelling they'd come up with a figure of thousands of deaths. What, they actually measured something? Was the effect of the inner London ULEZ a reduction of 3% from X% to (X-3)% - in which case it's important what X is/was. If the reduction was 3% of X, then the whole exercise was pointless.
Anyway, who cares? We only have a few years before Global Boiling.

It seems to be a very widespread attitude in the elite...
