A dog owner whose XL bullies attacked and killed a man has been jailed for five years. James Harrison Trimble-Pettitt, 33, previously pleaded guilty to having dogs dangerously out of control when Ian Price, 52, was attacked outside a property in Stonnall, Staffordshire, near Walsall, on 14 September 2023.

The video of this incident was the most distubing thing I've ever seen on the Internet - the sheer power on these animals and the utter helplessness of the unarmed people trying in vain to save him.

Judge John Edwards said Ian Price was "utterly overpowered by these young, powerful creatures who ravaged him for 12 minutes". Just hours after his death, then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced the XL bully breed would be banned in England and Wales.

He should have ordered a cull of the damned thing, but he had as little backbone as Starmer has proved himself to have. 

The court heard both of Trimble-Pettitt's dogs, named Via and Ares, managed to escape their owner's home through an insecure door and open window, while the garden gate was also left ajar. Prosecutors said the animals attacked Ian Price's face and continued "jumping and biting". Members of the public tried to help the victim with one attempting to use their car and others using wheelie bins to try to stop the dogs. The attack was witnessed by both his wife and mother, with Ian Price eventually falling to the ground in the latter's garden.The court was told Heather Price called police and was heard telling them the dogs were "absolutely ravaging him".

And, although they sent armed officers. they failed to use them, sonething we've seen more and more, as they run scared of bad publicity from the boodsport breed fanciers and the sentimental public who haven't seen what damage these things can do. 

Judge Edwards said while Trimble-Pettitt did not intend for them to attack Ian Price, he displayed a "wholesale disregard" for his responsibilities as a dog owner.

We shouldn't regard people who want to keep these breeds as simple 'dog owners' - we should treat then as people who want to own a deadly weapon, because that's what they are. These breeds bear as much relation to the pooch curled in his basket in a normal houshold as your Sunday lunch table cutlery does to a zombie knife.

Thomas Schofield KC, mitigating, said Trimble-Pettitt's fault was one of negligence rather than intention, adding: "He didn't wake up that day thinking he was going to hurt somebody."

Then why did he have not one, but two of these things? 

In his sentencing, Judge Edwards also disqualified Trimble-Pettitt from keeping dogs indefinitely.

And no-one will check for compliance....

Specialist pilots are to deploy drones to catch crime gangs fly-tipping waste in London and other parts of the country. The team of 33 pilots will use 54 unmanned aircraft fitted with laser mapping technology to track from the air illegal waste dumps in the South East and other regions.

Unles it's given these types of drones it's doomed to failure:

London has the highest rate of fly-tipping in the country, according to recent data, at more than twice the English average, with Croydon the worst affected borough.

Really? Worse than my own dear borough, where I cannot walk the 10 minutes to the local station without seeing the overnight activities of my diverse and enriching 'neighbours'?

The new Environment Agency (EA) squad will target criminal gangs behind large-scale waste dumping rather than individuals involved in opportunistic and smaller scale fly-tipping.

So, ignoring the 'Broken Windows' effect that did so much to clean up New York, before the idiot Democrats went and elected someone who turned it back into a crimeridden literal shithole again? 

Officers from the agency will also be able to swiftly scan and cross-check lorry licence applications against waste permit records, using a new screening tool.

It's staggering that this is a new thing, and not something implimented from the get -go.

A 16-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy were cleared of murdering Alexander Cashford, 49, but convicted of the secondary charge of manslaughter at Woolwich crown court. The attack took place in Leysdown-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent on 10 August last year after Cashford had given his phone number to the girl two days earlier. A 16-year-old boy who was also involved in the attack previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

The three defendants cannot be legally named because of their ages.

 Old enough to plan to ambush a man and set about him, leading to his death, yet still 'vulnerable children' im the eyes of our ludicrous legal system...

The court heard that the three teenagers exchanged messages with Cashford using the alias Sienna after he had met the 16-year-old girl at an amusement arcade and given her a business card with a fake name.The teenagers arranged to meet him at the seafront in Leysdown-on-Sea at about 7pm, the court was told, before following him as he walked along the promenade with the girl.

Copying, it would appear, the internet notoriety of the so-called 'paedophile hunters', who have set themselves up to catch the Third World predators our police farces don't seem interested in stopping. 

During his evidence, the older boy was asked if, in the immediate aftermath – before they were arrested or discovered Cashford had died – he had thought he had “done the right thing” by attacking him. The boy replied: “Yeah, kind of, yeah.” When asked why, he said: “Because I feel like the police wouldn’t have done anything.”

A chilling indictment of modern youth, and also, may I suggest, how the forces of authority have failed us all? 

The three teenagers are expected to be sentenced in April.

And no-one will face any censure for the failures of society that put them in the dock, and Mr Cashford in a grave.  

Yes, They Actually Let A Fox Guard The Henhouse...

The head of a primary school who discussed sexually abusing a child with a mother he met on a fetish website has been banned from teaching for life.

Gosh! I wonder what the school safeguarding team thought about this? 

Paul Brown, the safeguarding lead at Bransgore Church of England school in Christchurch, Hampshire, left in April 2024 due to 'personal reasons'.

Oh.... 

But it has now emerged that he was arrested in July 2023 as a suspected paedophile - although he was not charged.

Why not? Another CPS lazy day, I guess. Or the police failed to secure enough evidence to charge him. 

Brown used a bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism (BDSM) website Fetlife between June and July 2023, sometimes during school hours.

Gotta have a little something to while away the long boring hours, I guess... 

After police arrested him, Brown claimed he thought it was 'all fantasy' and that Person A's children did not exist.

As likely an excuse as 'the dog ate my homework'... 

Despite the accusations against him, the misconduct panel heard character witness statements. One person wrote to the panel: 'I agree that he acted unwisely and without rational perspective but I don't believe he has ever, or would ever, harm another human being, including a child.' Another wrote: 'I believe that Paul is safe to work with children,' adding that 'Paul has spent his life helping children' and is a 'good man who has had his life's work taken away by this very sad affair'.

Luckily, the panel didn't go along with this. And he showed his utter contempt for the system by his behavior at the hearing. 

The conduct panel heard how, despite the nature of the conversation Brown had with Person A, he did not report the profile to the website or contact the police despite being aware that children were at 'risk of sexual abuse'. Brown did not attend the hearing. In a letter and a statement to the panel dated October 2025 he admitted to 'large parts of the allegations facing him'.

It should come as no surprise that these people seek to put themselves in these positions of access to prey but when caught, they really should face more consequences than this. 

If Only We The Public Could Make Such A Request...

 ...and have it immediately honoured by the State, by having him deported.

A psychiatrist who treated Axel Rudakubana asked to stop being his doctor because she did not feel safe around his "intimidating and disrespectful" dad. Dr Lakshmi Ramasubramanian, a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust who treated the Southport killer between July 2021 and June 2022, said she requested to stop being his doctor following an "unprecedented incident".

You'll note that absolutely no consequences accrued to him for this behaviour.  

Dr Ramasubramanian said during an appointment on May 23, 2022 Rudakubana's dad Alphonse was "intimidating and disrespectful". The doctor did not confirm the details of what happened during the meeting, but added: "This was the very first time in my entire career as a doctor where I have had to request a change of psychiatrist because of how I was made to feel by a parent.

"It is quite unprecedented in my opinion and I vividly remember the level of distress I went through at the end of the appointment."

Yes, she's the real victim here, not the three little girls the bastards' spawn murdered. God, I'd be ashamed to say something like this. 

The decision was made by the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to move Rudakubana's care to a male psychiatrist because Dr Ramasubramanian did not feel safe to work with the family.

Was a referral to the police never sought?  

The ongoing inquiry is examining his contact with state agencies including the police, schools and social services to see if there were missed opportunities to prevent the attack.

Waste of time - yes, there were, we all know it, and we all know why, because of the softly softly approach to ethnic minority crime and threat evidenced here.

Speaking following the sentencing, DCI Collette O'Keefe from the Warwickshire Police Major Investigation Unit said: 'The level of violence shown by these offenders was truly shocking and Mr Hackett must have been terrified throughout.

'These three young people may not have intended to kill Mr Hackett but that is ultimately what happened, and like Mr Hackett's family, they will live with the consequences of their actions for the rest of their lives.'

Yeah, see that's the problem. They do get to live. And with the most pathetic of sentences. 

The judge sentenced the girl to an 18 month detention and training (D&T) order and gave the boys two year D&T orders. The first half of the sentence will see the youths held in secure accommodation, before they are released under supervision in the community. All three admitted manslaughter at a hearing in January.

This country is broken beyond all repair, isn't it?

It is understood some involved in the attack were in school uniform - with the teacher reportedly just two weeks into his new job.

Gulzarin Iqbal, a physician associate at the nearby Lord Lister Health Centre, said there was 'a lot of blood' when he went to the aid of the stricken man who had been stabbed with a 'long knife' outside the east London school.

Sadly, Gulzarin, these days, an adult getting stabbed in the back by schoolchildren is 'a normal altercation' for east London.

He described the victim as an 'African male, in his 40s, of average build.'

What was all that guff about how schoolchildren need role model teachers who look like them in the classroom? 

Why Is It The Government's Job?

Sir Keir Starmer said tackling knife crime requires a 'laser focus' as he described the double stabbing as 'devastating'.

Speaking during a visit to Warrington, the Labour leader told broadcasters: 'My reaction to what happened in Bristol starts with the human reaction. This is devastating for the family and friends of these two youngsters. I have teenage children myself. I cannot even imagine what it's like for the family and friends.

'But broader than that, I think across the country, there is this general concern now that knife crime is getting out of control. We've seen a 77 per cent increase since 2015. We've got to take it more seriously. 'We need real ambition by the Government. Make sure these knives are not available online - that can be done very quickly.

We don't even know yet where these particular murderers got their knives. Despite arrests, police weren't even naming the suspects at the time I drafted this. So why does he think making knives unavailable online is going to help?

'Where we think that youngsters are getting into trouble, put the support and get them out of that situation in the first place. And then finally, make it absolutely clear that if you carry a knife you carry the consequences.

'So I would bring a laser focus to this now. We can't carry on with these awful stories of knife crime. We have to roll up our sleeves and do something about it.'

Well, you were DPP in 2008 and held that position until 2013. If anyone laid the foundations for this rise, it was you.

Our Justice System Is A Total Dog's Breakfast...

Case in point:

A farmer who was filmed dragging his white husky along the road while it was tied to the back of his car before she died has avoided jail.

I've yet to see a more obvious case of animal cruelty and intransigence when caught by the police, so how could he possibly have avoided jail?

Rendall was sentenced today to eight months in prison, suspended for two years, 300 hours of unpaid work alongside a 20 year disqualification from having or keeping animals with the exception of cattle, and fish.

He'd find it tricky to drag either of those behind his car, it's true but seriously, does anyone really believe someone who could do that to a dog would have any regard for any other creatures?

What sort of excuse did he proffer?

In his sentencing remarks, Judge Michael Longman said the defendant had shown a 'high degree of recklessness' in his actions. He said the excuse of social awkwardness 'does not begin to explain or mitigate your behavour'.

*blinks*  Whut..?!

The judge told Rendall that even if he had not realised the extent of Daisy's injuries by the time he drove off he had still showed an 'arrogant distain' towards her.

He described obstructing the police who were trying to get medical help for the dog as 'truly dreadful' and added: 'I don't believe that you were devastated. You showed a deliberate disregard for Daisy's welfare in failing to seek treatment.'

Then why, 'your honour', are you not sentencing this thing in man's clothing to the fullest extent of your power?

Striking teachers who walked out of a Kent academy in a row with authorities over pupil behaviour have been slammed by some locals who say they're 'bowing down' to the anti-social children they're supposed to be teaching.

I'm not normally in favour of strikes, but it must feel to these teachers as if they genuinely have no other recourse... 

The troubled school was rated inadequate by Ofsted in August 2022 due to concerns over 'bullying, racism, homophobia, vandalism and pupils' understanding of sexual consent'.

Around 20 staff formed a picket line between 7.30am and 10am today holding up placards including some saying: 'I Come to work to teach not to be abused'and 'NOT ready, not respectful not safe.'

The school, which is one of only two on the Isle, has denied repeated calls for 10-day suspensions to be handed out to students if they abuse teachers.

Then they can't really be surprised when their workers take matters into their own hands, can they? 

Deb, a nurse who moved to the Isle two years ago, ... disagreed with the strikes and says that teachers should get back to work.

'The discipline is down to the law as far as I am concerned. Just as we have to bow down to our patients, they have to bow down to their pupils.'

Anyone aware of the NHS 'bowing down' to anybody? Anyone? Bueller? 

'I'm really old fashioned. It doesn't matter what school a child is in - if they want to learn they will learn.'

'There's always been issues with pupils. And unfortunately, the issue starts with a lot of the teachers are frightened of the parents because they can be very challenging.'

If the parents are 'challenging', you can imagine how the children behave... 

The trainee, who has been there for 18 months, said: 'Students verbally abuse teachers – arguments about phones are constant as well as the use of the iPads which we loan them. 'I've seen a chair thrown at a teacher. I've seen a gang of four students chase a teacher into the staff room.

'Those who criticise us striking are wrong – regardless of what the children have said or what they've done we still go back every day and give them a clean slate.

'But if we have an incident in class and we need a student removed and we send a call out, no one comes. That's 20 minutes of learning time lost in a 50 minute session'.

Those children who are, like Deb insists, 'there to learn' are being let down. Why does no-one consider that? 

Ms Kahan and her family live in a large detached house on the same road as the Minster-on-Sea site – and have had to deal with students kicking down their fences four times since she has lived there. The multi-generational family have been left to shell out hundreds of pounds to replace the panels which stands next to a busy bus stop.

She said: 'Me and my husband have come out to speak to them so many times. These things are expensive, we've had to fix it four or five times.

'But they just give it back to us. They 100 per cent need to be disciplined more'.

Yes, they certainly do, but it appears no-one wants to, so nothing will change.

Not a very difficult case for West Yorkshire Police to solve, it would seem, thanks to social media:

'He's a troublemaker. He's aggressive and he turns on people. He was driving around with other people looking for trouble.

'They stabbed him, jumped back in the car and fled.'

It could be any story of ethnic gangland warfare in London, but it's not.  

West Yorkshire Police have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of the teen's murder. A spokesman said a 14-year-old boy was arrested shortly after the incident in Horsforth, Leeds, yesterday and he remains in custody.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on yesterday evening but has now been released without charge.

A 14 year old. What the hell is this country coming to? 

 

Not A Surprise Anymore…

The son of two retired Metropolitan police officers, who controversially avoided jail despite killing two people in a drug-driving incident, is to be arrested for the eighth time for refusing to attend court.

Yes, Reader, 'tis he, again. He's never out of the courts or this blog, is he?

Max Coopey, 22, was expected to be sentenced today for driving while disqualified after he indicated he would change his 'not guilty' plea. However, the young man apparently told his solicitor at the last minute that he now wished to maintain his denial and would not turn up to court. East Berkshire magistrates in Slough, Berks, immediately issued a warrant for Coopey's his arrest - the eighth issued to the man since his headline-grabbing first offence in 2018.

Even his brief is sick of him:  

Coopey's legal representation, Shehneela Ahmed, told the magistrates that the defendant's last minute decision not to attend court on Wednesday had left her 'professionally embarrassed.'

It’s puzzling where his obvious contempt for the justice system stems from, isn’t it? 

This Shames England...

The scenes in London were bad enough, with the Home Secretary having to issue orders to the police that a), they shouldn't have needed, and b) they appear to have ignored. 

...last night, Suella Braverman urged officers to use the 'full force of the law' against shows of support for Hamas or bids to intimidate the UK's Jewish community. She issued a warning to police chiefs that the waving of Palestinian flags and chanting 'may not be legitimate' if it is deemed to be a show of support for acts of terrorism.

But this! This is practically a declaration by the police that they are perfectly fine with support for terrorism on the street of England. 

Police said 'minor disorder' ensued as they tried to disperse the crowds, meaning the suspect and another man were able to escape and are now being looked for.

This was not 'minor disorder', this was a declaration by a hostile foreign power that we have allowed into our country and that now acts as a fifth column on our streets, openly. Without hinderance from those we pay to prevent such displays.  

Stop Demanding New Laws!

Start demanding that the existing ones are used properly. 

The retailers, who also include the bosses of Aldi, Primark and Superdrug, call for the creation of a new UK-wide aggravated offence of assaulting or abusing a retail worker – as already exists in Scotland – which would carry tougher sentences and require police to record all incidents of retail crime and allow the allocation of more resources.

You're all idiots. Have you any idea how long it takes to get new legislation passed? Most of your shops will have closed down by the time it's on the books. 

“The police consistently tell us that a lack of data about these offences means they have no visibility about the nature or scale of the issue,” the letter says.

Well, they are clearly lying, aren't they? As their own data shows:

Meanwhile, the police’s own data for one major retailer shows that forces failed to respond to 73% of serious retail crimes that were reported...

What that letter should be urging is for them to start using the laws they already have. Not requesting new ones for them to ignore.  

Helen Dickinson, the chief executive of the BRC, which helped organise the letter to Braverman, said: “It is vital that action is taken before the scourge of retail crime gets any worse. We are seeing organised gangs threatening staff with weapons and emptying stores. We are seeing violence against colleagues who are doing their job and asking for age verification. We are seeing a torrent of abuse aimed at hardworking shop staff. It’s simply unacceptable – no one should have to go to work fearing for their safety. We need government to stand with the millions of retail workers who kept us safe and fed during the pandemic – and support them, as those workers supported us.”

All of those things are already crimes. Making them 'extra special super duper crimes' will take too long and still not help.  

You want to force the government's hand? Stop paying the bastards. No more cushy sinecure jobs for ex-Ministers or MPs. No more donations to the party. Starve them. 

Why We Aren't Stopping Knife Crime...

A Holland & Barrett worker attacked his boss in front of shocked customers after a row erupted about the length of his lunch break.

Terry Stokes, 26, dug his fingers into Kyran Burnett’s eyes then grabbed a blade from the store room at the health food shop near Victoria Station, central London.

Four customers fled in panic as Stokes chased Mr Burnett with the knife on December 29 last year, Southwark Crown Court heard.

Oh no, are you in for a long spell in ... 

But the judge gave Stokes credit for finding another job since the incident.

*blinks* Wait, what? Who would give this maniac a job? 

‘We have an impressive letter written on your behalf by your new employer who plainly thinks you would be of more use outside of prison than behind bars.’

Stokes, of Camden, was convicted of assault by beating and possessing a knife. He was sentenced to eight months jail suspended for 21 months.

/facepalm 

The judge added: ‘You still have anger issues and it may properly be addressed with these sessions.

‘You really must curb your temper in the future.’

What incentive does he have to do so, 'your honour'..? When he doesn't see a day behind bars for physical assault, while a sick sense of humour gets you 12 weeks in chokey?

He's Not The Only One Sticking Up Two Fingers To Justice, Is He?

A drunk driver who left a mum and daughter with devastating injuries in a horror crash flicked the middle finger after he escaped jail.

Scott Roe, 39, rammed his Mercedes CLA220 into an Audi at 60mph after he "got bored" of travelling behind another vehicle that was sticking to the 30mph speed limit.

First offence, perhaps?  

The 39-year-old, who had two previous convictions for drink driving, admitted two charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving at Warwick Crown Court.

Oh... 

He was given a 16-month jail term, suspended for 18 months, and was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work at the sentencing on August 6.

So, why the excessive leniency? Is the mitigation amazing? 

Andrew Wilkins, defending, said: "It's a case in which it is a cascade of things that go wrong."

For the women, the innocent victims, yes. For this worthless scum, not so much... 

"It all starts to go wrong when he makes the decision to drive after drinking."

Well, he'd done it twice before with no real consequences, after all... 

"Once he had done that he then, perhaps as a consequence, makes the decision to overtake a vehicle that's moving too slowly for his liking, and he does so at speed."

Strange sort of 'mitigation', this... 

"Mr Roe is horrified at the consequences of his actions."

He didn't seem very remorseful leaving court, did he?

Maybe You Should Look Up 'Intent' In A Dictionary, Your Honour...

Martine Snowdon, prosecuting at Liverpool Crown Court, said Walsh pleaded guilty to wounding without intent.

Oh..? And what did she do 'without purpose or determination' then? 

She said the incident took place on April 27 last year, when the victim went to visit Cheryl Morrison, who also lived in the same area as Walsh. Ms Caples went to Walsh's address after discovering a living room window had been damaged and Ms Snowdon said Walsh 'felt genuinely fearful for her safety'.

Another neighbour said they 'heard raised voices' and 'as an argument was taking place Walsh came out of her address with a white kettle in her hand'.

They said they heard Ms Walsh say 'watch out'. Ms Caples said she then 'felt boiling hot water hit the right side of her face and chest' which had sugar in it...

Wait, hang on...

Unless she habitually makes awful tea and coffee, there's clearly intent there in not only boiling the kettle but on putting sugar in it!

Naturally, the excuses come thick and fast:

John Rowan, defending, said Walsh is taking medication for manic depression and anxiety. Mr Rowan said when Walsh was 15 she was the victim of a stabbing which 'perhaps has a substantial effect on her mental health' and added she suffers from PTSD.

He said she has two young sons, aged two and seven, and added her eldest son is 'very close to her'. Mr Rowan said: 'In my submission there is a realistic prospect of rehabilitation in this case.'

He added she had a 'strong work ethic' (Ed: In Liverpool..?!) and said there would be a 'significant detrimental impact upon dependents'.

What judge could possibly think this excuses this act?  

The judge, Recorder Ian Unsworth, QC, sentencing, said it was not only a serious case which 'could have been far more serious' but 'also a very sad case'.

*sighs* 

The judge said it was 'not suggested this was premeditated or planned' and was 'clearly something done in the spur of the moment'.

It appears you need to look up a few more words. 

The judge said: 'I have been just about persuaded in this case your sentence of imprisonment can be suspended.'

Walsh was handed 18 months suspended for 20 months and ordered to complete 20 Rehabilitation Activity Requirements and 150 hours of unpaid work.

It's beyond belief. 

The judge imposed a five year restraining order preventing Walsh from contacting her victim.

Why is this necessary if you're convinced that she won't do it again? 

Well, Remember Brandon, It's 'Along', Not 'Across'...

A homophobic man who beat a gay couple unconscious has a 'compassionate' side and has become 'suicidal' in jail, says his advocate.

...and make sure you cut deep enough. 

Brandon Taylor, previously of Newtown Road, Worcester, was detained in a Young Offender Institution for nine and a half years at Worcester Crown Court last Friday. This followed a spate of violence which rendered the couple unconscious, one suffering a broken nose and the other a broken jaw and with an open gash on his temple.

Both victims ended up in a trauma unit following the attack in Malvern on September 20.

It's another example of the violence that plagues our streets at night, of course: 

Even when one of the victims got down on his knees and begged the gang to stop, telling them they were pacifists, Taylor and others carried on with the attack.

And he has quite the record, at such a young age: 

The 19-year-old was jailed for grievous bodily harm with intent, wounding, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, robbery, common assault, breaches of a criminal behaviour order, assaulting an emergency worker and three thefts.

It makes sickening reading: 

During his campaign of violence he threw a pool ball in a man's face in the Horn and Trumpet pub in Worcester, punched and bit a man in McDonald's, robbed someone of a skateboard, swung a punch at an Asda security guard in the city, stole beer, flouted a criminal behaviour order and bit a city police officer. As previously reported, Taylor was jailed for seven and a half years for the attack on the gay couple but must serve this consecutively to a two year sentence for all other matters.

But his hired mouthpiece isn't going to let that stop her! 

Elizabeth Power, defending, said her client's most powerful mitigation was his guilty pleas to all matters.

Given he's made no attempt to hide any of it, in the teeth of forensic, CCTV and eyewitness evidence, what other choice did he really have? 

Ms Power added: "This is a young man who suffers, and has suffered for some considerable period of time, with depression. He was rendered homeless at the age of 13. He is someone who has been in a crowd now for a number of years taking illicit substances."

None of that should be mitigation, it should be aggravating circumstances... 

The barrister told the judge most of the offences were committed in drink or under the influence of drugs.

Ditto! 

"This is somebody who does have empathy and compassion", she told the court. She added: "This is not a man who is devoid of empathy or care and compassion for others."

He hides it pretty well, then.
