Time Once More To Play 'Guess The Breed'...

An 83-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and a 55-year-old man has been taken to hospital with minor injuries, Gwent Police said in a statement. The dog was seized by officers and has been destroyed.
Its breed has not yet been confirmed, the force added. No other animals were involved in the attack.

Bet it's not a labrador...

Say, that location seems....familiar, somehow.

It comes a year after ten-year-old Jack Lis died after being attacked by a seven-stone bulldog named Beast at an address just half a mile away. The victim, named locally as Shirley Patrick, was at home - the location from which her grandson ran his dog walking business.
Two men aged 20 and 31, alongside a 28-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.

What the hell is wrong with Wales?

Darwin And The Law Of Gravity Is All That Stand Between Us...

...and a crime wave:

A schoolboy plunged to his death from a fairground ride after he and five friends are said to have broken into travelling fun fair before it opened this morning.
Locals said they had heard a group of around six youngsters had climbed over fencing on the perimeter to get into the fair in Dover, Kent.
Emergency crews were called to Family Funfair in a park in Dover, Kent around 7.45am.

The obligatory chavshrine and revelation of a double-barrelled surname weren't long in revelation....

Catherine Dennison, 75, a retired P&O ferry worker who lives close to the park said she heard an 'unusual' number of sirens this morning.
Catherine, who had worked on the ferries as an interpreter added: 'It's so awful. I feel so sorry for his mother, and his father, and his friends who saw it.'

I feel sorry for the owners of the funfair who will now face an investigation into site security, and the emergency services having to deal with the consequences, myself.

Oh, I Think We Can...

A family tribute was read at the start of the inquest by Mr Smith's sister, Lorna Webley, describing him as a 'very bright, talented and creative individual' famed for his 'sharp' dress sense, and as a man 'forever altering his own clothes'.
Ms Webley said the death was 'beyond comprehension', adding 'Trevor's life mattered and he did not deserve to lose it in this way.
'One early Friday morning, someone took my brother's life in three seconds.
'At this moment, we cannot explain the proper reason for any good cause for his death.'
He threatened his ex-partner with an imitation handgun and when police came to arrest him, giving him every chance to surrender, he acted like an idiot. Case closed.

There, saved a lot of time.

What Response Do You Think The Police Would Have In Somalia, Bayle?

Bayle Gelle, of Eden Prairie, told the Star Tribune on Thursday that the dead man was his son, 22-year-old Dolal Idd. Gelle told the newspaper that authorities haven’t given him any more information about what happened. He said several officers carried out a search warrant at his home Wednesday night.
“The police they are brutality,” he told the Star Tribune. “I want to get justice.”

Looks like that's exactly what happened.

And being this is the US, they waited until he fired on them. What do you think Somalian police would do?

Idd was Somali-American.

Half of that sentence is true, I suspect...
