You see, if only Shannon Matthews' mother and father had had access to subsidised housing, a basic income while out of work, free-at-the-point-of-receipt healthcare, civic amenities...

Julia, I've had to stop reading about this woman and the social services report on her and her family. I could feel my blood pressure rise just too far.
