Eating the chocolate treats is nowhere near as taboo as drinking alcohol but experts at ClickMechanic say that they can leave you feeling sluggish and potentially unsafe behind the wheel.
Oh, my mistake. It's no such thing, it's a bid for publicity by ClickMechanic...

Should be ClickBait. There's a lot of it about
When the internet was still new-and-all, I remember thinking it resembled nothing so much as a noisy and badly-run nursery with dozens of needy toddlers clamouring for attention at the top of their voices.
Nothing I’ve seen since has caused me to revise that opinion.
I am a diabetic but I can get away with the odd sweet treat because I do a lot of exercise. Once we were staying at a hotel and the choices at the breakfast bar were a bit limited and, in my infinite wisdom, I decided to devour a huge bowl of coco pops. About an hour later I a guy then in his late fifties, was bouncing off the walls unable to keep still. I certainly wasn't feeling sluggish.
So, could eating chocolate Easter eggs before driving, be the reason for so many drivers suddenly considering themselves to be members of the middle and outer lane owners club on motorways? Perhaps angry and frustrated drivers trying to get past them could sue Cadburys?

There certainly is!
"Nothing I’ve seen since has caused me to revise that opinion."
But is that the whole Internet, or is social media the main culprit?
"I certainly wasn't feeling sluggish."
I rarely eat a lot of chocolate but it has the same effect on me too!
"...the reason for so many drivers suddenly considering themselves to be members of the middle and outer lane owners club on motorways?"
Something's got to explain it!
