No Amount Of Youth Clubs Will Make A Difference

The father of murdered teenage footballer Kiyan Prince set out a new vision for young Londoners on the 20th anniversary of his son’s death.

It might be new to him, but it won’t surprise most people! It is of course ‘more youth clubs’ as if the knife-wending street vermin would be only too happy to give up eternal  feuding over their ends if only they had the chance of a game of snooker in a rickety hall selling curly sandwiches and warn bottle of ginger beer.

Dr Prince dedicated his life to steering young people away from knife crime since Kiyan, 15, was fatally stabbed trying to break up a fight outside his Edgware school on May 18, 2006. The Kiyan Prince Foundation - set up in honour of the tragic Queens Park Rangers youth team player – today launches a campaign, The Champions’ Club, calling for more investment into youth services to help them succeed.It includes an ambition to raise £400,000 so that the charity can fund a new space for youngsters dedicated to Kiyan’s legacy.

No amount of this pandering will reach the demographic responsible for these type of murders.

Dr Prince has also created a 20-point blueprint to improve the lives of Gen Z – one for every year since the teenager’s death. It sets out 10 asks of policymakers – including better pay and recognition for youth workers, more long-term focus and greater prominence for community voices.

No point in that if they aren’t listened to and they aren’t. 

The other 10 recommendations are for young people themselves, and include prioritising physical exercise, developing critical thinking skills and volunteering for local organisations.

The government isn’t interested in anyone developing those, least they start realising uncomfortable realities .

Well, It Was Authentic!

A businessman who stored fish in the bath next to the toilet before using them in ready meals to sell illegally to supermarkets has avoided jail. Stephen Akuoko, 62, had been operating in Watford under the name Tribal Foods for over three years, selling products that had inappropriately long use-by dates and a lack of detail on ingredients.

To people who are from cultures who don't care about such things. We can thank out lucky stars these only contained fish!  

The business was pursued by the borough council's environmental health team due to concerns about the products, but Akuoko proved elusive until a fire at his home on Haines Way in October 2024.

Firefighters were called to Akuoko's flat following a wok fire, and discovered huge quantities of fish in the bath and on the floor of the bathroom next to the toilet.

Akuoko later pleaded guilty to two food safety offences, as the judge blasted him for the meals that were 'unfit for human consumption'.

*bites tongue* 

At St Albans Crown Court last Thursday, he received a two-year suspended prison sentence and a five-year ban from operating any food business.

The mitigation must have been something to behold!  

In mitigation, Aleister Adamson said his client had owned a supermarket for many years until the property's lease expired. He then lost an expensive legal fight and became homeless until he was given social housing.

Of course!  

Akuoko then set up Tribal Foods, which he initially operated from a rented kitchen space before he started cooking from home.

'He was not in receipt of any benefits at that time and was relying on the business, which was not profitable at any stage, to support his basic living needs,' Mr Adamson said.

Apart from the benefit of being housed at the expense of the ratepayer... 

Judge Sheridan praised the 'dogged' efforts of the environmental health team who he said had performed a public service.

Yes, isn't it nice to see a local council doing something useful at last. 

It’s Not Like We’d Listen To Them Any More…

Environmental organisations “are still very white, especially at the top”, the co-director of Greenpeace has said as research showed little to no improvement in the ethnic diversity of their workforces. Areeba Hamid’s comments came as the third annual racial action on the climate emergency (Race) report into diversity among environmental charities found fewer than one in 20 of those working in the sector identified as people of colour or as other racial or ethnic minority groups. The average among the UK workforce is 16%, or just more than one in eight.

Quite why they believe this is necessary I don’t know - it’s not as if I’m going to pay any more attention to their nonsense if it’s spouted by a brown face rather than a white one… 

“Environmental organisations are still very white, especially at the top,” Hamid said. “I find myself in CEO meetings where I’m the only person of colour in the room, and it just doesn’t feel right in 21st-century Britain. ”

It would have felt very right just a few decades ago, I can’t help but think. 

The lack of improvement comes despite environment institutions’ apparent efforts and willingness to engage. Researchers said 161 – the highest number yet – had provided data, including all the UK’s largest environment NGOs. Together they represented 28,600 employees, more than double the number of workers accounted for in the previous year’s report, giving researchers the best picture yet of racial diversity in the sector.

Manu Maunganidze, part of the team that published the report, said: “The more we uncover, the more we realise there’s still much work to do – but that’s not a setback, as long as we stay committed and grounded in why racial diversity matters in the first place.”

 Why?

“People of colour may be minoritised in the UK but, globally, they’re on the frontlines of climate change. Those most affected by environmental disasters – floods, wildfires, rising tides – are too often those who aren’t given a seat at the table. This is why representation is so critical.”

So you need more diversity because those in the home countries are suffering? Well, why not go do it in those countries and not the UK? 

A ‘Close, Successful Family’..?

A 20-year-old criminology student with a fascination for knives has been found guilty of stabbing a woman to death on a Dorset beach after spending months plotting the attack and quizzing university lecturers about how a killer would get away with murder.

Another wrong 'un who shouldn't be in the country, one may think? Oh, perish the thought!

Saadi, who is from a close, successful family who live in suburban south London, had no previous convictions and the prosecution suggested he had carried out the killing because he wanted to achieve notoriety as the star of a real-life crime drama he had directed.

I'm not sure why that's relevant, or why it's a reason he shouldn't be deported to his country of origin on release. Which will probably come far too soon. 

It can now be reported that he harboured strong misogynistic views, repeatedly telling fellow students at the University of Greenwich that women were weaker than men and should not work in certain jobs.

Pretty mainstream opinion in his country of origin, and one for which those of his heritage seemingly get a pass on from feminists. The same feminists who clamoured for more female judges to ensure crimes against women were treated seriously by the judiciary. 

How's that going, ladies?

The judge, Mrs Justice Cutts, told Saadi: “You have been convicted of the most serious of crimes.” She said he would be jailed for life with a minimum term of “considerable length”. She said: “He is a young man, I think 21 years next week. He is a young man who may have autistic spectrum disorder.”

And may not. May just be a typical product of his heritage.  

The judge said she would seek information from a neurodevelopment specialist before sentencing. The judge added: “It seems to me it is my duty to find out as much as I can about him.” Sentencing was adjourned until 28 March.

It's not 'your duty' to fall for every bogus excuse proffered by the defence, is it?  

I Thought They Said ‘Diversity Is About More Than Colour’..?

It looks like that idea's gone out of the window now...

As Ursula von der Leyen sweet-talked and bullied EU leaders to send more women to Brussels over recent weeks, I kept hoping she would also make her incoming team of European commissioners more racially diverse. Thanks to an unexpected twist of fate involving (very) complicated Belgian politics, Hadja Lahbib, Belgium’s foreign minister, could soon make history as the first ever EU commissioner who is also a person of colour.

The person writing an anguished column in the 'Guardian' about the awful fact that a lineup of EU Commisioners is nearly all white (but could have gay or non-visibly disabled members) is none other than Shada Islam (a Brussels-based commentator on EU affairs. She runs New Horizons project, a strategy, analysis and advisory company). 

We can just imagine what sort of 'advice' you get from such a company...

If she gets the parliamentary thumbs up, Lahbib and the incoming EU Council president, Portugal’s former prime minister António Costa, who is of Goan and Mozambican heritage, will give a much-needed reputational tweak to an EU that boasts about being “united in diversity” but whose institutions still keep no data on their staff’s ethnicity and are visibly and notoriously “all-white”.

Now do Nigeria's government.  

Those 'Benefits Of Diversity' Again, Eh?

A teenage groom was among five people injured after a car ploughed into a crowd as his wedding celebration turned into a 'bloodbath', leaving a 'Good Samaritan' neighbour who tried desperately to help the wounded dead, MailOnline can reveal.

Newly wed Hasan Khan, 19, suffered stab wounds and his father Riasat Khan, 42, received head injuries, his mother said today.

Lovely. It's usually traveller weddings that end like this. 

A visibly shocked Mrs Khan, speaking to MailOnline, said: 'I am the groom's mother. He was hurt and so was my husband.

'We don't know why. We are a good family. It started as a happy day but things got out of hand.'

Ya think!?! 

She declined to discuss the bride or her family or the events leading up to the horror as a female police officer inside her house advised her not to talk about the devastating events.

Among tributes placed beside a smashed street sign where the horror had occurred was one one saying: 'Chris taken from us to soon by a mob of savages'.

I bet the police have removed that one by now.  

The Scale Of Imported Crime...

I watched 'The Met' on Tuesday night, and it featured two different cases, a stranger rape (of a cataclysmically drunk young woman) and a murder of a homeless man. I was struck by how the perpetrators (and in the case of the homeless man, the victim too) were all foreign-born.

So, reading this story yesterday morning, details stood out:

Shocking footage shows the moment a knifeman tried to kick his way into a house before stabbing his daughter's father-in-law to death in a row over wedding gifts.

Ahmad Alsino, 43, confronted dentist Mohammed Salem Ibrahim, 55, on his own doorstep before stabbing him four times with a Gino D'Acampo kitchen knife.

He was quickly arrested and sentenced to life. But it's just another case which tests the 'diversity is a strength' manta to near breaking point, isn't it? 

Another Triumph For Diversity Hiring Practices!

Ofcom's online safety supervision director has been suspended after anti-Israel comments were posted on her private Instagram account.

Gosh!  

Screengrabs published by the Guido Fawkes website appeared to show posts from Fadzai Madzingira's account describing Israel as an 'apartheid state'. She is also claimed to have liked a post criticising Israel and the UK for forming a 'vile colonial alliance'.

One wonders how she came to be in such a job, eh, Reader? If only there had been some warning...

Ms Madzingira describes herself as a 'Zimbabwean, a black feminist, a student of decolonisation and a deep believer in liberty for all' in the Instagram story obtained by the political website.

Looks Like Cows React To Red Flags Too...

The campaign to cancel Natalie Bird began with an item of clothing. She was standing in the sandwich queue when a woman marched over asking ‘Why are you wearing that T-shirt?’ The T-shirt in question had the words ‘Woman: Adult Human Female’ emblazoned across it. To some, an indisputable fact. To others, a red rag to a bull. Either way, it proved a provocative choice for a Liberal Democrat gathering.

How basic biology can ever be 'provocative' I can't imagine, but then thankfully, I'm not a LibDem... 

‘I told the woman I was wearing it because I wanted debate,’ says Natalie, 45. ‘She asked me if I was an approved party candidate and I said yes, and she said: “Well, we’ll see about that.” ’Days later, in December 2018, Natalie received a letter telling her she was banned from standing as an MP or holding party office for ten years.

Not that the chances of them winning any are particularly huge, but still... 

Natalie, who says the party’s focus ‘has moved from women’s equality to trans rights’, believes it is pushing more and more women out of politics. ‘For speaking out, I’ve been bullied, harassed, hounded... and received twice the punishment [with the ten-year ban] that people receive for electoral fraud,’ she says.

Well, yes, I mean, electoral fraud is clearly a lesser crime in the eyes of the people who want it in order to get into power... 

Louise Distras, 36, a singer-songwriter from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, believes the music industry is ‘so captured by gender ideology that they don’t know what a woman is any more’. She adds wryly: ‘Yet the “mob” always hounds women who speak out more than men. So they do know what a woman is, really.’

Bullies always target the weaker victim. They have an unerring sense for it. 

And in this topsy-turvey world the progressives and rabid trans-cult followers are building, anything can be a trigger for the mob: 

Artist Sonya Douglas, 52, is another whose livelihood is under threat. She was dropped from the Critically Speaking arts podcast after she refused to give her pronouns and, according to a tweet made by the podcast, for ‘sharing transphobic content’. The repercussions have been far-reaching.

‘I decided not to put anything and simply said: “It’s not important how people refer to me.” But I knew that I’d stuck my head above the parapet.’ Sure enough later that day the podcast team emailed her: ‘They told me — a black Welsh woman — that they were an “inclusive and diverse” team and wouldn’t be platforming me any more.’

There's 'diversity', and then, there's diversity, clearly... 

This Is The Sort Of 'Thought Policing' We Want!

Ademola Adedeji, 19, and three friends from Moston in north Manchester were each sentenced on Friday to eight years in prison for conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

They were jailed for taking part in a private group chat on the Telegram messaging app a few days after the murder of one of their friends.

Kids of Colour, a youth justice organisation which organised the march and the mentoring offer, said the case showed evidence of “thought policing”.

And for once, not the 'thought policing' we've become used to. This was actually the sort we want and need to see. Where they don't just think it, they actually commit to it in text messages!  

It said innocent young people had been criminalised for sending immature messages in the throes of grief, messages which were misinterpreted as proof of violent intent.

'They're good boys, they dint do nuffin'..!' 

Right, right. It's all a misinterpretation, then? They didn't have any intention of carrying ou...

Oh.

Most of the 10 young men attended the same school in Moston. They were convicted of plotting violent revenge for the killing of their friend — a 16-year-old aspiring rapper called Alexander John Soyoye, who performed drill music under the name “MD”.

None of those named as targets in the Telegram chat were hurt, though three of the defendants went on to violently attack two other boys using machetes and a car as a weapon.

Ooops! So much for that, then...! 

The public gallery was packed with their friends and family members who sobbed as sentences of eight years were handed down, with one boy’s father shouting: “Racists!”

It's a strange sort of 'racist' justice system that expends so much time and effort and public money to provide justice to the family of a murdered black boy, don't you think?

And no, for once, this isn't the joint enterprise that the usual suspects are so keen on aboilishing. It's an older bit of legislation: 

The case was tried under conspiracy legislation, which came into law long before the age of mobile phones and social media. It has similarities with crimes prosecuted as “joint enterprise”, a common law doctrine where an individual can be jointly convicted of the crime of another, if the court decides they foresaw that the other party was likely to commit that crime.

But the judge stressed: “The defendants were not in a joint enterprise; they were each principal parties playing a full role in committing the offence of a criminal conspiracy either to kill others or to intentionally cause them grievous bodily harm.”

And now they are quite rightly facing the consequences. 

Ah, The Benefits Of Diversity!

Davinder Singh, 38, punched builder Pawel Gorecki to the back of the head, causing him to fall and smash his skull on the pavement in Hythe.

The violence unfolded after Singh stopped to make a delivery and Mr Gorecki’s group took issue with Singh’s parking.

Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb told Singh: “You went towards your car but then you walked back towards him and punched him from behind, that was a gross misjudgement.”

She added “subdural bleeds” can be fatal, adding: “You are very fortunate that you are not facing a more serious charge.”

And aren't we so very fortunate to have such astonishing diversity in our criminal justice sysyem? 

The judge heard Gorecki has anger issues in part stemming from a traumatic childhood and, at the height of the pandemic, worked three jobs to help provide for his wife and children.

He has steered clear from trouble during the 20 months since the attack and offloaded two jobs, to reduce stress levels. And probation reports deemed Singh, of Seaway Gardens in St Mary’s Bay, a “low risk of re-offending and causing serious harm to others.”

This is, once again, a case of the CPS picking the low-hanging fruit and giving themselves an easy job... 

Singh was originally charged with causing Mr Gorecki grievous bodily harm with intent after telling police he acted in self-defence but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of grievous bodily harm in April.

Last week he was handed 14 months custody, suspended for two years, ordered to compensate Mr Gorecki £600 and complete 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

I Guess The Degree Course Didn't Cover This..?

Yatewuladio Djeny Matuasilva was 'caught in the act' when she was found in a compromising situation with the prisoner at HMP Pentonville in north London on August 30 2020.

The Operational Support Grade (OSG) officer initially denied engaging in sexual activity with the inmate. She claimed she 'blacked out' and could not remember how she came to be in his cell.

When questioned the 26-year-old from Barnet inisisted: 'I don't remember how my trousers got half way down.'

She's 26 years old, that's a bit young for dementia, isn't it? 

But she later admitted misconduct in a public office and engaging in sexual behaviour with a prisoner at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

When her brief advised her this wasn't likely to fly, even at notoriously-soft Snaresbrook! 

The pair both shared a Congolese heritage and the judge suspected this is how she developed a bond with the prisoner.

'Developed a bond'..? That's a new euphemism! 

Matuasilva, who has a degree in criminology, worked as a prison officer for three years but has since lost her job.

You'd think at least one of the sessions in that course would have covered sex with inmates, wouldn't you? 

"Siri, Show Me A Headline That Encapsulates 2021..."

Officials in London's Redbridge borough were left red-faced after a library event designed to promote reading among kids featured a monkey character in a costume that included dangling fake genitalia and exposed buttocks.

The costume and the actor wearing it came from Mandinga Arts, a troupe of street performers based in Clapham South that has "a distinctive style bringing together live music, carnival, street costume, puppetry and dance, drawing on diverse influences from Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa," according to its website.

And presumably Japan... 

Redbridge Libraries acknowledged the lapse in judgement and apologized for hosting the performance, but shifted the blame onto the charity Vision. It was they, rather than the borough council, who were responsible for organizing the event, the statement said.

Typical! 

Council leader Jas Athwal called the situation "disgusting" and said the charity had confirmed to him that all scheduled events were cancelled, but he likewise distanced himself from the controversy.

After whining on social media that those complaining about it were 'Johnny come latelys'... 

A Drain On Our Society...

Saaba Mahmood, 36, pocketed state benefit handouts on behalf of her aunt and uncle over a five year period - even though she knew they were living in their native Pakistan.

But when she was caught, shameless Mahmood, of Heald Green near Stockport, Greater Manchester said she did not realise she was unable to claim on behalf of relatives who lived abroad.

She also claimed she 'lacked skills in understanding how to live in society as a responsible adult' and added that she did not realise her offences were not 'victimless crimes.'

Naturally, she got a suspended sentence. And is set to soak up further taxpayer money: 

She will also now take part in a 15-day offenders programme estimated to cost £1,500.

We are continually harangued about the supposed 'benefits' of diversity, so let's look at the excuses offered by her lawyer to drill down to the benefits of having this Third World parasite here in the UK, shall we?  

At Thursday's hearing in mitigation defence lawyer Isobel Thomas said: 'Immediate custody will have a significant harmful impact on others. She has eight children aged between one and 13 who have to go into foster care as her husband has schizophrenia and is unable to care for them.

'Her youngest two children are very close to her and sleep by her. One of her daughters has been assaulted in the past and appeared as a witness at a Leeds Crown Court trial. She is nervous of men and other people.

'Her husband gets very distressed when she isn't there and may have to go to hospital if she were sent to prison. She is a carer for her aunt who has dementia, hepatitis C and kidney failure.

'She has never troubled the courts before and no longer claims benefits. She would comply with all requirements of a suspended sentence.'

Who Are Herefordshire Council Really Working For..?

Herefordshire Council will discuss the potential resettling of least 125 refugees in Herefordshire over a period of five years when it’s (sis) cabinet meets next week.

Because it's not really the voters of Herefordshire, is it?

The council and its partners have successfully resettled 95 refugees in Hereford between 2016 and 2019.

The families have been welcomed by local people and have made a positive contribution to their local communities in a variety of ways.

None are mentioned, strangely... Wouldn't you have thought they'd have examples?

Are there any clues as to what these nebulous 'positive contributions are? Well, yes, actually. They are buried in the alternative options.

1. Not to make any further commitment to the refugee resettlement scheme at this time.

This option is not recommended as participating in the scheme broadens Herefordshire’s diversity, supporting economic and community growth and resettlement has been successful, suggesting little reason not to extend further.

There you have it. That's the 'positive contribution' they make, according to the good burghers of Herefordshire. They aren't those awful white Christian voters....

In January Mr Lena, 20, went on trial at the Old Bailey along with Ramani Boreland and Mohammed Musse, both aged 21.

Mr Narvaez-Jara was stabbed in the chest at a party that Mr Lena had been attending.

Another man, 18-year-old Israel Ogunsola, was also accused of involvement in the killing but died before the case came to trial.

A teenager who "hunted" for an 18-year-old man before stabbing him to death in east London has been jailed for 17 years.

Israel Ogunsola was found wounded in Link Street, Hackney, on 4 April. He later died from his injuries.

Jonathan Abora, 18, was sentenced at the Old Bailey to life imprisonment with a minimum of 17 years and 152 days for the murder.

Police said "Abora did not act alone" and continue to investigate.

Ah. Occupational hazard, then...

Abdulgalil Aldobhani was arrested at Terminal Two with his girlfriend Aseel Arar, 35, who had purchased them one-way tickets to Morocco.

And why did we stop them? Foreigners killing other foreigners...

Mustafa Aldobhani was jailed for life with a minimum term of 22-and-a-half years.

Abdulgalil Aldobhani was jailed for life with a minimum term of 24 years and Shaddad was jailed for life with a minimum term of 23 years.

Great! Now the taxpayer's on the hook...

A Better Question Is 'Who Cares?'...

Despite the growing popularity of professional gaming throughout the world – the audience figures for competitive gaming have reached 450m this year – female competitors remain scarce.

There certainly are high-profile examples of female pros – trans woman Sasha “Scarlett” Hostyn is one of the most successful Starcraft II players in the world...

I rather think you've just devalued your argument there, Keith...

...figures collected by Nielsen suggest that almost a quarter of the pro gaming audience is female, and in some parts of the world it’s much higher. So why aren’t we seeing that reflected in the Fortnite World Cup?

Because watching isn't the same as doing? But maybe there were reasons for it - barriers women couldn't...

Oh!

The easy answer is because no women qualified. The heats were entirely open and held online over 10 weeks – more than 40m players competed with no restrictions on age or gender.

Keith's convinced it's the 'toxic atmosphere' and 'hostility to females' that the males are guilty of (which you'd think would be evident to the watching female audience too)....

And because 'diversity' is all, this must change! Keith said so!

Though esports revenues are set to hit $1bn this year, it remains a young and immature industry. Working out best practices in terms of encouraging gender diversity is a challenge that will affect every publisher and event organiser in the world over the coming years...

They are making millions, and - presumably - will still make millions even if women don't compete. Why should they feel a need to 'tackle this'..?
