The Conservative MP yesterday was seen walking in the field near the site and posted a video on Facebook to demand that action be taken. 'This is why we have got to take action to make sure that building work like this, taking place outside office hours, clearly seeking to game the system, that we are able to take decisive and quick action,' he said.
How many years did the 'Coneervatives' spend in power? And never once did anything about this.

Mr Aylett KC told jurors Gilheaney has six convictions for dangerous driving between 2012 and 2023 and two for driving whilst disqualified. Speaking to the Daily Mail at the site this week, one of the residents, who described herself as a family member, complained that they are 'the most hated people on earth', adding that 'they [the council] think they can sweep us under the carpet'.

Another man associated with the site, who didn’t give his name, said: ‘We want to live a peaceful life’, then threatened our reporter with ‘trouble’ if they reported on the site or returned.

Villagers are angry that, while strict planning controls apply to them, the travellers appear to be able to 'get away with anything' by flouting the rules. Around 120 people attended a meeting with local councillors in the village hall on Monday.
They pointed to a recent planning decision which is available to read on the council's website.The proposal was to convert a barn in a field opposite where the traveller camp now is, and also on Green Belt, into three dwellings. It was refused because the design of the proposed buildings 'would not adequately reflect the agricultural character of the area' and would be contrary to the Warrington Local Plan.Well there's your problem, better to ask for forgiveness than permission. Newcastle Upon Tyne magistrates court was told Addission was drunkenly riding home in his horse and carriage. When police arrived, Addison, who was on a suspended sentence at the time, continued to ride the animal along West Road. When appended, Addison still refused to cooperate and the officer had to use PAVA spray on him in order to detain him.

Jonathan Cousins, defending, said: 'Mr Addison was riding his horse home. Police wanted to speak to him. He rode off. He gets back on the horse.
'She follows him in her vehicle. He pulls up and, when the officer pulls in behind him, he's on his mobile phone to his family trying to seek assistance with the horse or for someone to come and take it.
'He has stayed out of trouble since this.
'It was clear he was intoxicated by his manner. The officer sought to stop him doing that. He was not cooperative. The officer followed in her vehicle and the defendant was eventually apprehended.'

Addison, of no fixed abode, has now been fined a total of £250 after he pleaded guilty to being drunk in charge of a horse and obstructing a police officer.

A dog was run over and killed by a car on seafront lawns.Sussex Police have seized the car involved and are investigating.
Inspector Alexandra Bailey said: “We understand the significant distress this incident has caused to the dog’s owners – and the wider public – and our enquiries to identify the driver of the vehicle are ongoing.
“We know there were a large number of people in the area around that time, and we’re urging anyone who can assist in our investigation to please come forward."
The car, which has been seized, was unregistered and uninsured and the driver is yet to be traced.

A source told MailOnline: 'The police handed her over to two men who were there when it happened. They offered to look after Beau Lucy and took her to a farm near Heathrow.
'But when the owner got there, it was a bit of a struggle getting her back. They insisted on being paid for keeping her, and he had no choice but to cough up.'

It is thought that after travelling on the A1, the boy joined the M1 at Junction 48. Jon Cruddas, Labour MP for Dagenham and Rainham, joined Ben Suter, deputy chairman for Dagenham and Rainham Conservatives, in saying the extension of the Traveller site at the park presented a threat to the green belt and ignored the wishes of local people.
Mr Suter went on to claim that the extension would destroy the habitats of protected species, without specifying which animals he was referring to.
But then the real protected species got up on its hind legs and brayed for all it was worth:
Ilinca Diaconescu, policy and campaigns coordinator for London Gypsies and Travellers, spoke out following Barking and Dagenham Council’s decision to approve the extension of a Gypsy and Traveller site in Eastbrookend Country Park at a cabinet meeting on May 23.
Ms Diaconescu, whose group is a registered charity, said: “We urge politicians to understand the negative impacts of their opposition to these plans in the context of the housing crisis facing Gypsy and Traveller Londoners, and the racism and prejudice that the communities continue to face to this day.”

Ms Diaconescu said that when politicians opposed the delivery of homes for Gypsy and Traveller families, they reinforced housing inequalities these communities face and send a public message that they are not welcome anywhere.

So, the 'oh he collapsed before the dog panicked and attacked' excuse didn't wash at the coroner's inquest:
Ian Symes, who weighed 7st 12 lbs and was 5ft 10ins, was walking the 'powerful' American Bully XL at a public park in Fareham, Hampshire when it overpowered him, the hearing was told.
The Bully XL - which shares DNA with banned American Pit Bull Terriers - reverted to its 'aggressive' natural instincts and repeatedly bit down on Mr Symes' neck after he began playing with it.
Youngsters saw Mr Symes screaming for help and being mauled to death, it was heard.

The 34-year-old had been looking after the seemingly 'soppy and friendly' dog named 'Kong' for a friend, who bought it the day before over Snapchat from travellers without any paperwork.

Dr d'Sa said a tea-towel found next the dog and Mr Symes' body may have been used for 'ragdoll-like' play, which she said was dangerous. Dr d'Sa said: 'I believe it was a play exercise that got out of hand and turned into predatory behaviour very quickly.'

'The difference in what we did and what he did... I had the dog on a rope-chain, the dog had a muzzle, and I had an expert handler and the police there.'

At the inquest, Kong's owner Mr Jones - 20 at the time - said it was bigger than he expected when he bought it. He said: 'He looked smaller in the pictures, I was quite surprised by how big he was.
'He did pull quite a lot, I did struggle to walk him, I was a bit worried about that.'
This new information makes the decision not to charge this brainless moron even more suspect, doesn't it?
Two men have been banned from owning dogs for three years under new get-tough powers designed to target poachers.
On Tuesday, February 21, Colchester magistrates handed David Hilden and Tyron Young the disqualification orders in what is believed to be a national first after the pair each admitted a charge of daytime trespass in pursuit of game.
Are they local boys who just like dags..?
The court heard both men had travelled to the Saffron Walden area from south London with dogs which were to be used to poach game.

Investigating officer PC Nigel Wright, of Essex Police’s rural engagement team, said: “The poaching of wild animals is extremely cruel but it can also cause a lot of damage to crops and farmland, which is very costly for the land owner or farmer.
“Dogs are integral to poaching and I am delighted that the magistrates were able to use this new legislation to deprive these two poachers of any access to dogs, even just walking someone else’s, for the next three years.
“We look forward to working with the CPS to have these disqualification orders applied in cases of hare coursing and other poaching offences in the future.”
But unless someone monitors them, how will you know that they are effective?
Sussex Police are investigating and have said they have not seized the dogs at this stage.Why not? This wasn't something they can brush off as 'dog on dog', is it?

The incident took place when a man was out walking his dog at the North Denes caravan park between 6pm and 8pm on Saturday (31 Dec). His pet was attacked by two other dogs, both American bulldog type animals, and he was then kicked and punched by a group of male and female youngsters.

A 22 year old male was arrested last night (Wednesday 4 January) on suspicion of assault and he was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning where he remains. A dog was also seized by police at the man’s address. An initial arrest was made earlier in the week of a 21 year old male – he was bailed by police pending further enquiries to answer on 4 March and his dog seized by police.
Stop seizing them - they have no evidential value. Start shooting them. Preferably in front of their scum owners.

Travellers last night sang 'we shall not be moved' after storming a former fire station in Hull and putting a 'lock and chain on the gate' stopping anyone else from entering....you won't be. Because their promise to make trespass a criminal offence was just another broken one.
Humberside Fire and Rescue have confirmed they are aware of the 'unauthorised encampment' and working with partner agencies to take relevant action.
The usual sloth and inaction, while the travellers spit in our faces.
A local resident said: 'Police arrived on the scene immediately but were unable to stop the whole scale takeover of the fire station which is still utilised by the fire department for training and storage.
'Residents were in the street last night, astonished at the ease the travellers gained entrance to the facility with travellers heard singing 'we shall not be moved'.
The police arrived on the scene for an hour before returning to duties.
It's a disgrace.
Around 27 mobile homes parked up at Oakgrove School in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, on Friday evening. They broke open the gate locks and refused entreaties to move on.

After a weekend of liaising with the local authority, the headteacher was forced to order the school's 2,000 pupils to study from home yesterday as the premises was deemed 'not safe'.
Then at around 4pm, a volley of police cars swooped on the site, with officers carrying helmets and batons to compel the illegal encampment to move on.
Although most caravans left without protest, two men were arrested by police - who attended the area with specially trained dogs, The Sun reports.

A site usually used for community events was left covered in rubbish following a seven-day unauthorised encampment by a group of travellers.
A group camped on Mosterton village green, just off the A3066 in the village centre.
They had all vacated the site by Wednesday, June 15 after being told to leave by police, leaving a trail of waste in their wake.
The accumulated rubbish filled two skips...
One local, who wanted to remain anonymous, said:"After their arrival, the police visited on three occasions to reassure residents they were doing what they could."
Did they check all the vehicles were taxed and insured and had MoTs? Did they inspect the waste to see if there was any identifying information? Did they drive past on a regular basis, late ay night, to ensure the residents felt safer?

Residents described seeing a 'convoy' of caravans move the concrete barricade and head into Bushfield Camp off Badger Farm Road late Thursday evening.

This is the second time in as many weeks police have been called out to travellers who have forcibly set up camp across the Winchester district.
Shedfield Parish Council had to hire professional cleaners to deal with piles of mess - including clothes, food and human excrement - which were left on the common by travellers who tore up wooden posts to access the site.
Yet another state of affairs this hopeless Tory government has failed to get to grips with, despite (empty) promises to make trespass a criminal offence...
