Advance Australia Fair....

A few months ago, I noted how four budding serial killers-in-the-making broke into a Teeside allotment and killed over 100 birds and animals.

Since then, I've searched in vain for any news on what happened to the perpetrators (while accepting it was almost certainly 'nothing')...

Now, in Australia, a seven year old sociopath breaks into the Alice Springs Reptile Centre and slaughters 13 animals, and what is the reaction to this?
Parents of a seven-year-old boy who fed lizards to a crocodile during a reptile park break-in are likely to face civil action.
...
The centre's director Rex Neindorf said today he was disgusted by the incident, and vowed to take civil action against the family of the boy, whom he has described as a "ratbag''.

"We just want to see some action taken against the people who were in charge of the child, whether it be the parents or the guardian,'' Mr Neindorf said.

"We want people to know that you just can't go out and do these things ... we just want to see someone take responsibility.''
My, my...could you imagine the shrieking outrage from the 'More Hugs n' Cuddles Needed' crowd over here if anyone had described the Teeside scum in such forthright terms, or dared to suggest that their parents be responsible for their savagery?

Now, I see why so many people emigrate down under...
