...is here, by David T over at 'Harry's Place'. Nicely skewering the man-hating nutjob Julie Bindel, and exposing the hypocrisy at the heart of the 'Stonewall' organisation.

Readers of the old Peter Simple column in the Daily Telegraph will recognise the Julie Bindel Fan Club, the Anti-Julie Bindel Fan Club, the Anti-Anti-Julie Bindel Fan Club etc etc.
I always thought Peter Simple was satire - I now realise it was a manual for these loonies.
Stuck in the 70s loony fringe lesbian nominated for an award by an increasingly ineffective organisation that has forgotten its own roots.
The cynic in me rather wonders if they did it for the publicity but mostly I don't care enough to even write an email of complaint.
A storm in a teacup that'll vanish unless Julie Bindel is suddenly found in a position of power. At that point however it'll be time to leave - after turning out the lights of course.
"The cynic in me rather wonders if they did it for the publicity.."
Their excuse is that she's been nominated for her past year's work, and that shouldn't be taken to imply that they agree with all of her comments.
Which is a bit of a cop-out, to say the least.
"..unless Julie Bindel is suddenly found in a position of power.."
These days, her radical feminist kind, and her radical leftwing friends, don't need to be in 'positions of power' (as we used to understand them). They merely need to get themselves on enough policy-dictating quangos and steering-cum-focus groups instead...
It's a nicely written and well thought out piece, but ultimately pointless. We know they are agenda driven reactionaries motivated not by the "rights" of their particular chosen victim group, but by their hatred of "normality". As such it's a non issue.

Clarissa, she already is in a position of power, well influence anyway, with the Home Office paying her to advise them on various issues.
