‘Guardian’ Questions That Can Easily Be Answered…

…with ‘No’:
In case you've missed it, take a look at this video (unless swearing offends you). It made me ask is comedy rap an effective campaigning tool?
I’d have to say, on this showing, it’s about as effective as non-comedy rap for getting a point across, frankly.
It's a simple point worth making, but will the lyrical trickery mean it reaches people that po-faced preaching doesn't? I think it probably will - it's been watched almost 60,000 times already.
Dude, it’s the Internet; a video of a skateboarding duck would pull in more people…

Had I ever been remotely tempted to buy this product .. that load of old pony has just ensured that it will remain firmly on the shelf ..

What do the people in that video think they sound like ?

Certainly nothing like I want to listen to ..

Amuses but needs stats to convince.

Wondering why said...

James Taranto at the Wall Street Journal has a regular column with the engaging feature (albeit mostly US-centric) "Questions Nobody Is Asking"

He does amusing reviews of the media under such categories as "Bottom Stories of the Day" and generally is worth a read.

Probably because he isn't at all left wing.

There's plenty of other junk science they could be doing, sadly...
