🎵"I'm all mixed up inside, I want to run but I can't hide, and however much we try, we can't escape the truth..."🎵

I wonder how much Starmer and his wretched party are enjoying what promises to be a Long Hot Summer...?

I guess when you excuse one group's reactions to events and urge the police to go softly-softly with them, other groups think 'Well, might as well chance my arm!'.

Because all that happens when the police crack down even harder on them is the sense of grievance gets stronger, and a few more people observe the differing reaction and start to think 'Hey, that conspiracy theorist I laughed at might not have been so wrong after all!'...

And then, no amount of 'It's the Russians to blame!' is going to help things.

I am no supporter of violence. But when 'the Government' appears to consistently ignore public opinions in favour of those of 'the Blob' then there are, eventually, repercussions.

One of the ironies is that in a 'Small State' there is little opportunity for offence. But when a 'Big State' knows best and continues to know best despite contrary views then offence builds up until it boils over.

If Labour are happy that the Conservatives lost because they became unpopular then Labour have not realised that the General Election did not reset public discontent with 'the Government'.
