Quite A Feat, When There's No Official Crime And Never Will Be

At least five victims of the former Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed have been confirmed by the Home Office as victims of human trafficking.

Does the word ‘official’ mean nothing any more?

A group of survivors of abuse by the deceased businessman had called for the Metropolitan police to make trafficking the main focus of its investigation, arguing that Fayed could not have committed his offences without a steady stream of women sent to him by associates.

What offences are those?  He’s never been convicted of any, and never will be!

The women were victims of international and domestic trafficking, and one survivor told the Press Association (PA) they were recruited to a false role within Harrods. Two further victims were hired for a legitimate role and then selected from the shop floor for abuse.

’Alleged’ abuse.

Officers are looking into who may have facilitated Fayed’s crimes, in an investigation known as Operation Cornpoppy. Four people have been questioned to date, 21 months after the investigation opened.
One survivor, known as Justine, told PA she felt “shellshocked” when she received the conclusive grounds decision in June that she had been a victim of modern slavery. She added: “But it’s a really significant thing, getting that decision, seeing it in writing that you were a victim of modern slavery and trafficking is very … it’s really shocking to read.”

But very useful for later claiming all the compo going, I’ll bet! And no, Reader, it won’t be just Fayed’s business empire they and their lawyers seek to raid, it’ll be the taxpayer too:

Victims have previously complained of how the Metropolitan police have handled the investigations into Fayed’s abuse. The Independent Office for Police Conduct is examining complaints about the force’s handling of allegations between 2018 and 2024.

The lawyers must be congratulating themselves on the Home Office’s stupidity… if it IS Stupidity and not malice.

We Can Start By Being Honest About What They Are...

Yards from the Thames, in the churchyard of All Saints, which dates from the 12th Century, is the final resting place of the Victorian poet Matthew Arnold. In fact, the village of Laleham in Surrey is pretty much as quintessentially sleepy old England as you can still find.

Well, THAT won't do. Have some 'progress':

So locals whose children attend the Church of England primary here were surprised in recent weeks to find a young Afghan man repeatedly loitering outside, approaching female pupils – and becoming aggressive when spoken to.

 As anyone would be!

According to one group of parents, he spat at them, and seemed to suggest that paying to be smuggled into Britain by dinghy gave him free rein. ‘I’m allowed to stand where I want – I paid £3,000 to be here,’ is what locals say he told them.

Some 'asylum seeker' - isn't that rather a large sum of money in his country of origin?

Calls to the police followed, and after the asylum seeker ignored warnings, he was last week arrested and detained under the Mental Health Act.

Of course. The only surprise here was that they didn't arrest the complaining parents, too!

Only then did it emerge that the Afghan, in his 20s, had last month been placed in a 1920s semi along with five other migrants, at the behest of the Home Office. The house had been purchased by north London businessman Joshua Grunt, 48, in October for £500,000, who immediately let it out via an agent to house migrants.
However, the local authority, Spelthorne Borough Council, insists it had neither been informed nor consulted over the arrival of any migrants, saying: ‘The Council has written to the Home Office asking for an explanation and an assurance that this will not happen again.’

Waste of paper - they are far more arrogant and entitled than the fake refugee and will do it again sure as the sun rises in the east.

Yet a Daily Mail investigation has found that such sudden arrivals of migrants in villages and towns are about to happen on a huge scale – all over the country – as a direct result of Labour’s promises to close migrant hotels. And the only people celebrating will be those making fat profits as a result. At taxpayers’ expense.

Why are they always referred to by every branch of the MSM as 'migrants' when they are 'Illegal immigants'..?

Strange Bedfellows

The Home Office is investigating a company linked to a religious sect based in Cheshire over its use of immigration visas.

Which religion? Glad you asked , Reader…

The company under investigation is linked to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL), a sect that blends tenets of Islam with conspiracy theories about the Illuminati and aliens controlling US presidents.

Well, I’m shocked!

Followers believe the sect’s leader, Abdullah Hashem, can cure the sick and make the moon disappear. About 100 of his followers live in a former orphanage in Crewe, in the north-west of England.

Why are they here? Because Switzerland were too smart to let them be a drain and a threat in their country, but we weren't.

The community moved to the UK in 2021, after transferring their headquarters from Sweden, where immigration authorities investigated several companies linked to the sect and issued deportation orders to dozens of its members.

And so now they are burrowed into the country like a parasite:

Now, immigration officials in the UK are looking into a company linked to the sect over its use of skilled worker visas to bring people into the country.

Skilled? In what? Are we not entitled to ask?

Oh, This Won't End Well....

A new scheme to detect people who are obsessed with violence before they kill, such as the Southport attacker Axel Rudakubana, should be considered by the government, an official report will say.

Why? It'll merely prove to be as useless (and caputed by the 'welcome all refugees' crowd) as all the others....

The report into Prevent, the controversial programme intended to stop people from becoming terrorists, will also find repeated “failings” in the case of the man who went on to assassinate the MP Sir David Amess, the Guardian understands.

How surprising, eh? Bet you didn't see THAT coming, eh, Reader?

The findings are likely to intensify the campaign by the family of the murdered veteran Tory MP that there should be a public inquiry into what the authorities knew about the dangers posed by Amess’s killer, and whether he could have been stopped. The government has so far resisted that call.

Keep pushing. Starmer will crack in the end!

The Amess family want an inquiry similar to that into the Southport atrocity, which started hearings this week.

One has to ask why the establishment wouldn’t want one, when it concerns the murder of one of their own?

As well as those driven to violence by such an ideology, police and the government are concerned about young men consuming a “pick and mix” of horror online and showing levels of interest in violence considered to be worrying.Any new anti-violence scheme would be in addition to Prevent and possibly even include it as a specific element to deal with those where ideology, such as Islamist or far right, is present. Multiple sources told the Guardian that while a new anti-violence scheme may be needed, a lack of money may thwart its setting-up.

Well, maybe they should have thought about this before splashing out on a superinjunction and the importation of thousands of Afghans.

No 'Two Tier Justice'? Don't Make Me Laugh!

Speaking directly to Okello, who appeared in the dock in a dark suit and blue tie, the judge added: 'You have pleaded guilty to two serious offences.
'I am not going to sentence you today because the court needs a pre-sentence report to find out more about you and your circumstances, and the circumstances of these offences.'
What more do you need to know about his 'circumstances'? Surely all you need to know is that he's admitted to forgery in order to pocket £40k he wasn't entitled to?
Okello, of Harrow, northwest London, was released on unconditional bail and is due to be sentenced at the same court on June 13.
Is it just to give enough time for new Home Office directions to bed in, I wonder?
Court reports must consider the historical 'background and culture' of ethnic minority criminals before they are sentenced, it has emerged.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said it is 'vital' pre-sentence assessments produced for judges by probation officers consider if non-white offenders have suffered 'trauma' from racism or discrimination, prompting claims of two-tier justice.

And they don't even have to have suffered it directly!

It said defendants may have experienced this personally or 'inter-generationally' if told about it by friends or family, or just learned of 'important historical events' affecting groups.

I wonder if it'll work for Irish Travellers? Can they rely on trauma from the Potato Famine?

In Reality, There Should Only Be Two....

...the rest can all be filed under 'mental illness':

Terrorists and paedophiles can select from 51 different gender identities in a Home Office database of Britain’s most dangerous criminals.

WTAF?

Police chiefs have admitted that ‘no formal risk assessment’ was carried out before recording extremists and rapists as ‘androgyne’ and ‘pangender’. The list of obscure gender identities has been labelled ‘madness’ and the Home Secretary has been warned that failure to properly record criminals’ sex poses a risk to the public.
Last night Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick said it showed police chiefs are ‘more interested in woke nonsense than arresting criminals’.

Clearly, this isn't just hyperbole, there's so much evidence...

The list of gender identities includes ‘pangender’, ‘transgender person’ and terms like ‘androgyne’ and ‘neutrois’. The database has a number of gender categories with the same meaning - such as ‘cis male’ and ‘cis man’ - as offenders have provided different answers or officials have recorded them in inconsistent ways.

If someone provides a clearly wrong answer, why accept it?

Dr Kath Murray, from policy analysts Murray Blackburn Mackenzie which obtained the data, said the list of gender identities shows that the Home Secretary needs to make recording data on sex mandatory. ‘At the risk of stating the obvious, it is hard to understand what possible operational value there is in knowing that a registered sex offender or a person convicted of terrorism may think of themselves as neutrois, pangender, or other such obscure terms more commonly found on Reddit discussion boards or Tumblr,’ she said.

When was this system brought into operation?

A Home Office spokesman said: ‘The ViSOR system was developed twenty-five years ago, in an effort to maximise the information collected and shared about known offenders and thereby help the police keep track of them.

Right, now, I know a thing or two about government IT systems, and there’s no way that a 25 year old database was designed with more than 2 options on a pick list. Twenty five years ago, we were relatively free of all the genderbollocks.

So either someone decided to to throw vast sums of money to update the pick lists (if that was actually possible, given how some government databases were built) or it was an open text field, and not a picklist at all.

And yes, it’s entirely possible that a government body wouldn’t see the pitfall herein, or would hire someone to build it who’d do what they asked without pointing out the problems that would arise…

‘Many aspects of the system are now outdated, and the Home Office is currently developing a brand new system, which will reflect modern requirements and reporting standards, and give the police the tools they need to manage the risk from the most dangerous offenders.’

Anyone want to bet against the new system having 52 gender identities for people to pick from?

The Home Office...Powerless Against Fiction

A six-year-old girl had her passport application rejected ahead of a dream holiday to Disneyland because she is named after a Game of Thrones character.

Whut?

Khaleesi Holloway's mother, Lucy, had to halt plans for the £2,000 trip after she was told her daughter's name broke trademark rules. The Passport Office said they were unable to issue a passport unless Warner Brothers agreed because it owned the trademark for the name Khaleesi. Officials told Lucy to contact the American film and entertainment studio to get permission to use it.

I can only imagine how Warner Brothers would have answered that call!

However the Home Office, which runs the Passport Office, has since confirmed that a mistake had been made and that the application is now being processed.

Is every single branch of the civil service now incapable of organising a fuck in a brothel?

Solicitors advised Lucy that although Warner Brothers own a trademark for Game of Thrones, it is for goods and services not a person's name.
Officials from the Passport Office later called Lucy to apologise, saying that the guidance staff had been given only applies to people changing their names.

So the guidance is STILL wrong!

When An 'Innie' Becomes An 'Outie'...

No, I'm not talking belly buttons!

A former Home Office chief accused of resisting key Conservative policies while in charge of asylum is joining a charity that has said the Government’s policies are “inhumane, racist and divisive”....
Who could have foreseen this?

Oh, that's right. Everyone who has been paying attention.

When You Have To Read The Comments To Get A Full Picture...

A predator who chased lone women and girls through the streets of Brighton before sexually assaulting them has been jailed.

Hurrah..?

Hanok Zeray, 32, of Ringmer Road in Brighton, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting six women last year. Police said the city's streets were "a safer place" now he was behind bars.

Yes, I'm sure 'hurrah' is the right response h...

Oh!

Zeray was originally arrested on April 17 last year after a woman reported being raped in Old Steine the night before. He was released under investigation and continued his spree of terrorising lone women and girls but was eventually arrested and charged six months later in October.

Top job there, cops!

Superintendent Adele Tucknott, Sussex Police’s lead for violence against women and girls, said: “The behaviour shown by Hanok Zeray will not be tolerated in Sussex – from the persistent harassment of women through to the sexual assaults for which he has been jailed.
“We have a range of measures to keep people safe at night and it is so important that any incidents are reported so we can take positive action.“

'Positive action' like letting him run around free to assault lots more, you mean?

“In an emergency, always call 999. You can also download the Safe Space app, which has a list of designated safe spaces across Sussex where you can seek help. Download the app here Safe:Space Sussex - Safe Space Sussex Application.”

An app. FFS!

But Ambush, I hear you cry, you're being too hard on the police, how could they consider him someone who should be denied bail?

Well, for that, you have to read the comments, and not just the article...

Funny, you'd think a true journalist would have mentioned this salient fact, wouldn't you?

A good point. Why are our professional informative class not making it in the body of the news article?

This Is What Will Sink The Tory Party...

...despite making little effort to hide his whereabouts, the Home Office has seemingly been unable to locate the serial thief who has terrorised outer London for nearly a decade. But it took this newspaper just two weeks to find him.

The 'Mail' hacks do a better job than our Border Farce and police. Just let that sink in...

We pieced together information from social media, newspaper clippings and intelligence from the Albanian community to track Puka down to a £250,000 two-bed terraced flat in Hounslow, west London. The property is owned by an accountant. Puka is not listed at the address. When we visited, he was spotted leaving in a £60,000 black Mercedes CLS Coupe to get a coffee in a T-shirt emblazoned with the words 'Weekend Offender' and 'Admit Nothing'.

He's spitting in our faces, and our government is doing nothing at all to stop it.

Immigration minister Robert Jenrick has admitted to the deportation of just 'hundreds' of Albanians despite over 12,000 arriving on small boats in 12 months. Britain struck a 'gold standard' deal with Albania in a bid to improve the process. It includes convicts with a year left to serve in UK jails being freed early and deported. But when the BBC spoke to 50 Albanians deported under this deal in May, they said they would immediately attempt to return to the UK.

The Tory Party is finished. Stick a fork in it. It's done.

No, 'We' Didn't, Unnamed Neighbour...

"We left two people in a very vulnerable situation and it could've worked out a lot worse than it did."
It was the people taking taxpayer's money to do a job that caused this. We're just the mugs left with the bill regardless.
The man had been due to be housed in a property with other asylum seekers and arrived in the North East on the evening of 20 June.
He spoke very little English and it remans unclear which country he had come from or how long he had been in the UK.
He spoke enough English to claim asylum, though, you'll note...
Mears Group said it was investigating what had happened and had met the asylum seeker on site as soon as staff knew he had arrived.
...
The company's annual report shows its 22% increase in revenue in 2021 was "largely driven" by its work finding hotel accommodation for asylum seekers.

It's money for old rope, isn't it?

Welcome To Consequences

For whom, I'm not so sure...
A teenager convicted of manslaughter has taken the Home Office to court - claiming he is unable to party after leaving prison because of an ankle tag.
He claims curfew condition such as the GPS monitoring tag have made it difficult for him to get a delivery job or see his girlfriend, The Sun reports.

Errr, well, yes. And?

His claim stated: 'It is detrimental to the claimant’s mental wellbeing that he is unable to leave his premises after 8pm which deprives him of the opportunity to socialise with his peers.'

The case, which was heard in a youth court, heard no details of the attack which saw Slovakian-born Makula jailed.

Wait, why hasn't he been deported?

While in a young offender's institution, he was reportedly sanctioned 40 times for his behaviour.

I say again, louder, WHY HASN'T HE BEEN DEPORTED?!

He was eligible for release in March 2020 but was detained with a deportation notice, before being allowed out of immigration detention on bail in May 2020.
During those two months, Makula won a claim for false imprisonment with an £18,500 payout after it emerged he had been eligible for release on license.

*sighs*

But Those Who Broke It Will Never Face Any Consequences...

Mr Brennand said he would be writing to Health Secretary Steve Barclay expressing his 'profound concerns' about issues including morale, workloads and staff shortages.
Afterwards Mr Jones said Emily had been the victim of a 'broken' system. Campaigners said the tragedy raised 'serious questions' about whether the public were safe.
...and so what will change? Nothing.
After smuggling herself into Britain on the back of a lorry in 2014, Skana was twice sectioned under the Mental Health Act following a series of violent outbursts.
She attacked her mother with an iron in February 2017. Skana then absconded from the unit where she was being treated, tried to obtain a knife and demanded to see a friend's daughter. The following year she was refused asylum, but was allowed to remain in the UK after lodging an appeal.
Emily's inquest heard the Home Office dropped plans to contest the appeal – despite asylum workers being informed she had confessed that her trafficking claim had been a lie. The hearing was told her statement was disregarded due to the mental health problems she was suffering at the time.

Yet another in the litany of failures  to lay at the door of the disfunctional Home Office. The father of little Emily is unhappy with the verdict, as well he might be.

Does the coroner sympathise, or does he see it as a way to burnish his woke credentials by chiding the grieving man? Reader, I leave it to you to decide:

The coroner added that it was 'not difficult to appreciate that he may well feel, and is entitled to feel', that Skana 'should never have been allowed into the country' or be 'cared for in the community'.
But he stressed that unlike treatments from 'yesteryear', when patients with paranoid schizophrenia would be kept 'under lock and key on a permanent basis', we now lived in 'more enlightened times'.

And all it costs us is the lives of our children. How very enlightened.

Funny Way To Show Gratitude...

Court proceedings against a woman refugee accused of attempting to murder a social worker have been delayed, after she claimed the alleged victim attacked her.
Appearing for a committal hearing at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court today was Fiyori Kesete, now established to be aged 24. She had claimed to be child refugee, however her real age has since been established.

And only when it's far too late, and she's buried herself like a tick into the system, you'll note.

At a previous hearing last November, a detective constable explained Kesete is a refugee who travelled to Northern Ireland by herself in 2021 from Eritrea in East Africa.
Without any parental or responsible adult input, she was assigned support by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust 14+ Team, residing in specialist accommodation in Dungannon.

'Support' actually meaning 'life of comparative luxury' compared to her life in Eritrea...

Prior to the incident she was reported missing seven times including the days running-up to her arrest. On that occasion, she was located in Belfast by police who alerted her social worker and took her to her accommodation, which had been cleaned and prepared for her return after being missing for several days.
The court heard she entered the property with her social worker who went into the kitchen and began unpacking groceries telling her, “I’ve bought you all your favourite things.”

And was she grateful, unable to believe her good fortune? Reader, we already know, don't we?

It is alleged Kesete without warning, “Immediately struck the social worker to the back of her head with a knife.” The victim screamed and was struck again to the head, then once to the neck and twice to the arm.

I guess you can take the woman out of Africa, but...

The social worker was rushed in an ambulance to hospital where she underwent emergency surgery.
At that stage the court was told Kesete’s identity remained unconfirmed and there are five different dates of birth and six variations of her age registered with the Home Office.

And did that not trigger some sort of warning on the computer systems at the Home Office? And if not, why not?

'I can see it in all your faces, you like this stuff. You like it. You're supporting this.'

Perhaps we need a monument to The Unknown Workman alongside the Cenotaph, because he speaks for us all...
Earlier the force had warned that protesters had moved from Pall Mall to Piccadilly in Westminster where they stopped on the road.
It said: 'The Met is aware of a number of protesters slow walking on the roads. Officers are on scene and attempting to engage. We are carefully monitoring for any disruption and will take action as necessary.'

Note, they didn't say against whom....

It was part of a number of demonstrations by Just Stop Oil during rush hour yesterday morning, which culminated in a joint march by the group and Extinction Rebellion from Westminster to London headquarters of Shell in Waterloo in the afternoon.
It was the last of four days of protest by XR supporters, but the first day of an 'indefinite campaign' by Just Stop Oil calling for an end to new UK oil and gas projects. The group has called for people to join the slow marches every weekday at 7am and midday on Saturdays.

If the Home Secretary doesn't get the senior officers of the Met Police in for an interview without coffee and get them to start taking proper action, someone is going to be seriously hurt or even killed by someone who has been pushed to the limit by these people, and it'll be entirely on her head...

'It's Only Taxpayer Money' Pt 79248563217851

The Home Office is still unable to say when a planned communications system for Great Britain’s blue light services will be operational, despite spending almost £2bn on the project, the Whitehall spending watchdog has said.

Blimey, you could have built a few miles of a new railway line for that money!

The proposed emergency services network (ESN), first announced in 2015, was supposed to have replaced the ageing Airwave system for police, fire and ambulance services in England, Scotland and Wales by 2020.
However, the National Audit Office (NAO) says despite the turn-off date for Airwave having been extended twice, first to 2022 and then to 2026, the Home Office now admits it is likely to be later, although it cannot say when or how much it will cost.

It is to laugh, isn't it..?

It Should Be A No-Brainer...

...but all it proves is this government is one of very, very little brain indeed:
Plans to cut the asylum backlog by sending questionnaires to refugees instead of conducting official interviews will demand that claimants reply in English within 20 working days or risk refusal, a leaked document shows.
The Home Office will on Thursday begin sending out copies of the 11-page document to about 12,000 people from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Libya, Syria and Yemen as part of Rishi Sunak’s plans to cut the “legacy backlog” of 92,000 asylum claims.
And who is to say the 'refugees' are going to be the ones to fill them in..?
The deadline has dismayed legal experts who say it places unreasonable demands on vulnerable people who will not be able to seek legal advice on time.

Do they mean the 'refugees'? Or the parasites who feed on these 'refugees' who won't be able to keep up with demand..?

If the latter, I only have one thing to say:

The Last 'YCMIU' Of 2022..?

An official working for the UK Border Force has been arrested on suspicion of...

Shirking his duties? Stealing paperclips?

...being an illegal migrant himself.

*blinks*

His bosses are understood to have acted quickly as soon as doubts were raised about his status, The Sun reports.

Oh, maybe he's one of those new hires, then? At least they found out before he could do any dam...

The suspect is understood to be in his late 30s and arrived in the UK around 20 years ago from the Balkans. It is alleged he lied on paperwork about his origins in order to be granted the right to remain in the UK, later going on to work for the Home Office.

/facepalm

The same man is also believed to be among four Border Force staff who were arrested over a separate incident on December 6. The four were detained on suspicion of misconduct in public office and conspiracy to steal.

Could the BF strike for another few months? I don't think the country can cope with them on duty.

"Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?"

Well, not this chap, not any more...

In a statement, Suella Braverman said: “I have accepted Michael Lockwood’s resignation as director general of the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
“I took immediate action upon being made aware that Mr Lockwood was the subject of a police investigation into an historic allegation, and instructed my officials to ask him to resign or face immediate suspension from his role.
“Home Office staff are working at pace with the IOPC’s unitary board to put in place temporary arrangements for the organisation’s leadership.”

Nice to know they can move quickly when they want to, eh?
