A New Definition Of The Word 'Successful'...

A man who punched a paramedic in the head during treatment has been given a two-year community order.
That'll teach him. I don't think...
The incident is one of a number of successful prosecutions the trust has had in the last year.
*speechless*

I wonder what the unsuccessful ones looked like?

I hope the punched paramedic immediately stopped treating the dummy and told the prat could stay ill or inured or whatever.

When my father was in the army the medics would do anything to help the wounded and ill, except those people who were so drunk they hurt themselves. Perhaps we should have the same rule now: people with self inflicted injuries from drugs or drink should have to get over it themselves.

Yes yes, I know the boozers will all be up in arms about their rights, but assaulting medical staff because you are paralytic or stupified really is hard to justify.

I'd like to think so too, but I doubt they are allowed to do that. More's the pity...
