"The North Valley Food Bank in Whitefish, Montana, actually accepts donations of what its staff members call "vehicle-tenderized meat.""
Enjoy that Sunday roast... :)
Actually, I had poached fawn smothered and encased with roast duckling. Mostly fresh and nothing obviously tainted. Got to get there quick before the coyotes/ferrets get their fill. Dirty animals.
When I was in Canada, a local told me that if you see a rabid animal on the road (yes, they have them there) you should try to run it over. If it is the same in Montana, the food bank could say the froth on the animal's lips is a sauce.

A jack-rabbit 'tenderised' by an 18-wheeler must be the most tender meat ever.

Round our way, it's crows and magpies. No wonder there's so many of them!
