...and not just to get a better aim at her back. I'm seeing the end of the 'Conservative' Party here, because it simply no longer contains any conservatives. Your political choice now seems to consist of two soft left parties, both in thrall to professional agitators and the media, and one lunatic fringe party.
I've always voted, because I believe that not to vote is a waste of the sacrifice people made to give it me, but by God, I'm hard pushed to justify voting for any of these cretins the next time.
If someone were to form a "Non of the Above" party they would walk the next election.
It's getting embarrassing now. Truss was clearly the "best worst option" and she will probably last as long as a Watford FC manager.
We are going back into the EU, mark my words. The fix has been in since we plebs had the cheek to vote Leave in 2016.
The Non-Conservative party are committing electoral suicide and we will suffer greatly under a Labour government. Economic meltdown, endless immigration, more WOKE policies, BBC and MSM deciding policies. Just like now really.
I believe voting shopuld be compulsory, but only when there's a ''none of the above'' box to put a cross against, and if NOTA wins then all candidates on that ballot are disqualified and the election for that constituency is rerun until someone wins a majority.
As that will never happen, i continue to refuse to vote for one lot in order to keep the other supposedly worse no hopers out. Suspect i'll never vote again for the rest of my days.
Don't worry Adolph 2 is in the wings and by the time he steps out into the light we will all vote for him. Such is the way of Humans. We never learn from our mistakes.
The Conservative MPs wanted Sunak as PM. To this end they arranged a contest between Sunak and a no hope candidate. They were too out of touch to understand the mainly older membership wouldn't vote for Sunak who betrayed them with the triple lock. Now they are trying to put Sunak into no 10 with a coronation and to h**l with the membership. Then they expect the useful idiots of the membership to support them at the next election. If it was a fictional novel nobody would find it believable.
Judd, I agree with you. I have been saying just that for some years. I insist on voting as it's not only a right it's a duty. However, I write across the paper None of These.
I haven't voted in years now. If something worth voting pops up, then I'll change that, but I'll never vote for the 'least worse'
Boris was wishy-washy to say the least, but even that was too much for the remoaners. So, they stymied, limited and forced him to enact ‘their’ agenda then … blamed ‘him’ for its failures, they demanded and forced through, and kicked him out. [Let's be honest, almost no one in Parliament, and none in his, or her, cabinet actually represent any of 'mere' us].
Then they install one of their own (a dyed in the wool, bought and paid for WEF baby) and used her to screw things up even more (I do wonder how much she’s being paid to become the laughing-stock, taking one for the team), using that as an excuse to replace her with their chosen one (who incidentally just happened to was to blame for everything everyone else gets blamed for).
You have to admit (at least if we really were the idiots they obviously think we are) it’s masterful, as plans go.
So we get even more disillusioned with the ‘Tories’ (how many are actually planted/closet opposition stooges – most, if not all at this point I suspect), have less trust in ‘the system’. They got to implement their agenda, and now get to double-down to ‘correct’ the issues. Got rid of, and discredited, anyone even vaguely opposing them, and laugh at us whilst they did it.
At this point I’m at the stage where I think the only real solution is to Ripley (“Nuke it from orbit …”) or Fawkes them … all, and start afresh.
My, my. Did I call it or what!
"If someone were to form a "Non of the Above" party they would walk the next election."
"We are going back into the EU, mark my words. The fix has been in since we plebs had the cheek to vote Leave in 2016."
I think that might just incite another civil war in this country...
"Suspect i'll never vote again for the rest of my days."
I fear that's going to be my future too!
"They were too out of touch to understand the mainly older membership wouldn't vote for Sunak who betrayed them with the triple lock."
Perhaps it's time the Conservative Party split?
