No Wonder They Don’t Like The Public Taking Photos…!
No, not just because it brings the police force service into disrepute when they poke their tongue out after being caught parked on double yellow lines.
It’s because those photos show that the standards of physical fitness required these days are at an all time low, judging by the porky appearance of the WPC.

OT but it should ignite your indignation concerning the police "service".
The Lords have allowed the appeal by the police to the effect that a witness was not entitled to protection despite being threatened by the accused. Apparently it was "reasonable" for DC Dildo to assume that the accused would not murder the witness despite the threats. This is the same HoL which goes to such lengths to protect the foreign terrorists in our midst.

No doubt this will reignite demands for anonymous witnesses, which I'm still not in favour of.
I at first wondered if they would have been as quick to dismiss the death threats if the target was a cop or a judge. But then I recall the case of Garry Weddell...

As a matter of interest, was Geoffrey Weddell ever asked to cough up the £200,000 bail? Since Garry didn't (for obvious reasons) turn up in court isn't the £200,000 forfeit?
Further to Geoffrey Weddell - apparently he's a distinguished lawyer and the matter of the forfeiture of the bail money is discussed here.
BTW after a bit of googling I find that - surprise, surprise - Geoffrey got away with it - sort of runs in the family doesn't it?
