Some genius has just opined (in the Mail, of course) that cats are neurotic and out to kill their per humans. I have been watching ours with renewed caution ever since.
No signs yet, but I'm pretty sure I caught one of them purring oddly as I was commanded to open yet another can of food...

UB, if you die, your cat will start eating you before you are cold.
Dogs have owners: cats have staff.
Staff are valued if they perform their duties satisfactorily.
