Professionals....

Police called to deal with a fight ended up in a nine hour operation, halting trains and leaving an officer hospitalised.
Officers were called to a fight outside Muchos Nachos, in Whyke Road, Chichester, at 10.20pm on Saturday.
When one man was believed to have run away across the railway line trains had to be stopped.
Officers then found a man in Wyke Road and sprayed him with captor spray - but he ran away again.
Another officer traced him to a industrial estate in Gravel Lane, but he assaulted the officer leaving him unconscious.
Another officer Tasered the suspect but he got away again. Eventually the man was traced to an address in Bognor Road, Merston at 4.30am.
Firearms officers and negotiators then spent almost three hours on the scene, before tasering the suspect again and arresting him at 7.20am.
What I wouldn't give to see footage of this epic battle...

What is captor spray? My imagination is working overtime.

Something must be done about this, immediately! As an interim measure I am equipping all staff with a Soviet T-34/85 and driver, it's the only way to be sure.

And I always thought Chichester was such a nice, genteel place ...

Captor is an incapacitant spray based, I believe, on capsicum peppers. The LAPD used to call it 'liquid Jesus' for the effect it had on people who had been sprayed. A person who is, drunk, drugged or sufficiently motivated can fight through the effects of such spray.

Isn't there a clause that says people should be set free if they survive a pepper spraying and two taserings?

@AndrewWS

It is genteel for the most part. But it still has homeless people, drug abuse, drunkenness, chav areas etc. All the city bars have door staff in the evenings. But it's a safe city and very nice for the most part.

Muchos Nachos is actually my local. It used to be The Crown (before my time), but is now a Mexican restaurant, yet they have managed to retain the olde pub features, with a real fire blazing in the winter months. There's no smoking of course, which has never bothered me, but they have a really great, mostly enclosed place outside with comfy sofas and heaters. You can also get Shisha pipes there. Oh, and I've never seen a fight (or even raised voices) in the four years I've been going there.

Me too! Is there anywhere left that is?

"The LAPD used to call it 'liquid Jesus' for the effect it had on people who had been sprayed. "

Heh!

"Isn't there a clause that says people should be set free if they survive a pepper spraying and two taserings?"

He should at least get a level up and enhancements!

"But it's a safe city and very nice for the most part."

OK, Chichester is back on the retirement plan... :)
