Grammar is important, 'Argus'...
You're making assumptions as to which car had the overpowering smell of weed: it IS Brighton/Hove, so it could have been either.
Is a GCSE the most basic qualification that you can get in English? Surely anyone with even that basic qualification would know better than to write this? So, do the Argus hire people who have no qualifications whatsoever?
@ Ted TreenNo assumptions necessary, the grammatical construct is absolutely clear.
Teddy boy fail.
"...it IS Brighton/Hove, so it could have been either."LOL!"Is a GCSE the most basic qualification that you can get in English?"You think you need any kind of qualification to be a 'journalist' these days?
