"Everyone knows the lad who did it."

Not a very difficult case for West Yorkshire Police to solve, it would seem, thanks to social media:
'He's a troublemaker. He's aggressive and he turns on people. He was driving around with other people looking for trouble.
'They stabbed him, jumped back in the car and fled.'

It could be any story of ethnic gangland warfare in London, but it's not.

West Yorkshire Police have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of the teen's murder. A spokesman said a 14-year-old boy was arrested shortly after the incident in Horsforth, Leeds, yesterday and he remains in custody.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on yesterday evening but has now been released without charge.

A 14 year old. What the hell is this country coming to?

There are now sufficient numbers of these (children) of no particular description, for most of us to know that major cities are unsafe to negotiate unless one is wearing a bullet-proof-stab-proof vest and carrying a concealed firearm. Because the latter is essential for a reasonable degree of protection from these armed savages. But worry not, JuliaM, equipping responsible and decent citizens with effective counter measures will almost certainly ensue when victim quotas progress (as they certainly will) to the level of wartime statistics.

I live in BD2 (not too bad yet) and work in BD3 (hell on earth thanks to diversity)...but you know things are bad when kids are getting stabbed in Horsforth and, not too long ago, Didsbury...
