Police Statement Translation Service

Police could not find a record of a complaint of the incident based on the information available.
Allow me: “What!? Get involved in a verbal racial bust up between a black woman and someone who claims to be a traveller? Heavens to Betsy, we wouldn’t know where to start! The Diversity Office would have kittens! Best to say we…. ummmm … lost the paperwork. Yes. That’s it. Lost it. It’s the effect of Tory cuts, you know.”

Gosh, that reminds me of the mass shredding of documents relating to that corruption inquiry in the Metropolitan Police...which was uncovered by BBC News, last year.
So voluminous were the amounts of material on corrupt Met plod, that the shredding took more than two days to complete.
The total destruction of these files on Met personnel, which were alleged to have been highly damaging to police at all levels in the Met, was highlighted by the barrister Mark Ellison QC in his review of the Stephen Lawrence murder investigation.
The Met said it had "little detail" on the circumstances and the files had in all probability, "been lost or misplaced". Just how far can a public service degenerate, Julia?
