Well, that is the thing isn't it? Not only have they spent years feeding the crocodile, but they've also spent those years coming down like a ton of bricks on anyone who pointed out that it was, in fact, a crocodile and not merely a very big labrador with a skin condition.

They have the evidence, they have the identities of the criminals. Now all they have to do is their job. If only the courts would hand down appropriate sentences.
Much less hassle for plod, is to stick to 'there' forte for ambushing OAP drivers who venture down isolated, rural lanes. With no cameras to record the true version of events, the bullyplods can safely make it up as they go along.
