How Was He Expected To Know?

A coroner has called for urgent reforms to asthma attack guidelines after a 22-year-old mixed-race man died due to a misunderstanding during an emergency call.

What sort? 

An inquest into his death found that because Mr Barr had a darker skin tone, the emergency call handler's reference to whether he was a 'deathly colour' was misunderstood, despite him being critically unwell, with lips turning blue.

Becoming pale is a common physical warning sign of an asthma attack, as well as a change in colour, dark circles near the eyes, a flushed face, and runny eyes. However, due to Mr Barr's naturally darker complexion, the Coventry coroner concluded that the call handler should have asked questions about Mr Barr's lips rather than the colour of his skin.

But how on earth was he to know the person who was the subject of the call was mixed-race?!?

"Turn It Off, Sarge, It's Doing The Job Too Well! "

Essex Police has paused the use of live facial recognition cameras (LFR) after a study found they identified more black people than other ethnic groups.

Identified them incorrectly? No, dear Reader, not at all: 

The cameras are mounted on vans and designed to identify people on watchlists if they pass by.They found it correctly identified around half of those on the watchlist, and that it was "extremely rare" for someone to be flagged up if they weren't on the list.

So, it worked. The only problem was, it highlighted how many criminals are black. and in today's modern police farce, that's a crime in itself. 

But the study found it was "statistically significantly more likely" to correctly identify black people than other ethnicities. It was also "more likely" to spot men than women.

Well, these days, so many men are pretending to be women, its hardly a surprise!  

Are We That Desperate For Vets?

Tudor Herlea downed beer and vodka on a boozy evening before he was stopped by police during a routine drink drive check. Officers then found he was one and a half times the legal drink drive limit, a tribunal has heard.

And it wasn’t his first time, either:  

Herlea, a registered vet who began working in the UK in July 2024 as the lead surgeon for Vets4Pets in Blackpool, was already banned from driving for a speeding offence at the time.

And yet was hired anyway such is the state of our country, and the craven behaviour of our institutions is but one reason!

However, he has been spared from being struck off the official vet register after a panel was told that the Home Office would deport him if he was suspended.

So, that’s a consequence, and surely we can’t be so short of vets that we need to keep this one around? 

It was heard that Herlea committed the crimes in his home country and was convicted at a Romanian court in March 2024 - four months before he came to Britain as a convicted criminal to work.Despite this, The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) still allowed him to work in the UK.

Are all our organisations so totally captured that no matter what, they will continue to inflict diversity on us? 

'Someone Should Have Saved Me From The Consequences Of My Own Actions!'

Emma Dyer remembers the moment she clicked "buy now" on a set of weight‑loss jabs she found online. She had no medical consultation, no ID checks, and no questions about her history of anorexia and bulimia. "It was just so easy - too easy," she says. "They never asked for my medical history or what medication I was taking. It was like buying groceries."

Except you weren't ordering cornflakes and crackers, and you knew that.

Within days of taking the injections, Emma collapsed on her bathroom floor and thought she was going to die.

She didn't, Reader. She survived to deman ACTION! on her behalf.

Emma had a history of eating disorders. She says she had reached a healthy weight, felt stable, and was working in a job she enjoyed. But a single comment from a customer who she said told her "you looked a lot better when you were skinnier", sent her spiralling.

Oh, well.  

The 40-year-old, from Carlton in Nottinghamshire, said the website she used offered no safeguards. She says it only asked for her body mass index (BMI), which she was able to lie about. "If they'd checked my medical history with my GP, I don't think I would've been eligible," she says. "My BMI was normal. I just wasn't in the right headspace to make a logical decision."

And a website is supposed to know that?  

When the injections arrived back in March 2024, the instructions were "poorly printed", Emma says. Not realising she needed to start on a low dose, she injected a medium one.

So she can't read either. 

She has now decided to share her story in the hope others will think twice before ordering weight-loss jabs online.

I've no intention of thinking even once about ordering medication (after self-diagnosing) from the Internet, thanks. Because I'm not a moron. 

Is The Clue In The Name?

The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) released a report on Thursday into the actions of the former orthopaedic surgeon who treated hundreds of children over five years. The review found that 98 patients (12.4%) experienced some level of harm, and 94 of these cases were linked specifically to the care provided by (him.).

Why was he allowed to continue for so long? Could it be because he wasn't British?

"Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent"

Never was that quote by Adam Smith more encapsulated in a modern context than in this revolting case which shows us all how low the justice system has sunk.

A transgender woman who groomed and raped a young girl in Wirral before transitioning has been jailed for 15 years

So a man when he committed the offence, and of course, still a man now.Always a man in fact. Yet described as a woman in every report of this nighmare case, apart from one no doubt accidental slip in the Wirral Globe.

Liverpool Crown Court heard that the victim has been badly affected by his appalling behaviour and her former outgoing personality has changed. Jailing the defendant, who appeared in the dock sporting a moustache, Judge Katherine Pierpoint, said, “You groomed her so you could start to abuse her to fulfil your own sexual desires.”

Yes, Reader, a white liberal female judge. You know what to expect from such now, don't you?  

Anthony O’Donohoe, defending, said that a custodial sentence was likely to be difficult for Peers.

He's the defence brief, considering this pervert to be the real victim is his job. It's certainly not, however, the job of the judge: 

The judge said she accepted Peers had struggled with gender identification issues throughout her life. “I appreciate as a transgender prisoner there are issues you will have to navigate during a lengthy prison sentence.”

Those are consequences, Judge.  

Sympathy Evaporating....

A grieving mother says action should be taken to tackle Britain's e-scooter 'scourge', as she shared photos following her 14-year-old son's death in a crash. Carly Calland posted pictures, including some of paramedics treating her son Jacob, in an effort to 'bring home the reality and seriousness of what happened'.

Well, she's not wrong, these things are indeed a total menace. 

Campaign calls have been backed by Ms Calland, whose son Jacob died in an e-scooter accident in March last year - and she has now shared photos of the clothes he was wearing at the time, after finally having them returned last week. She wrote: 'After a lot of thought, I feel it is right that I share these photos with the public. As is normal in this day and age, members of the public started taking photographs of the scene and started posting on social media straight away.'

Well, you're in good company, because this is the subject of yet another demand for legislation to regulated human nature. So what happenerd to the illegal rider who mowed down your young son while he was walking innocently on the pavement? I mean, that was what happened, right?

Jacob was riding on the back of an e-scooter without a helmet through a busy junction in Wythenshawe, Manchester, on March 19 2025, when the crash happened.

Oh... 

She told the Daily Mail how she wants e-scooters to be legalised, as a step towards better regulating their use - as well as mandatory wearing of helmets and a ban on carrying people as passengers.

Not quite as breathtakingly awful as killing your parents and having the audacity to then plead clemency on the grounds you're an orphan, but certainly in the ballpark. 

Ms Calland added: 'I'm not going to stop campaigning. The government say they'll make changes - I won't allow them not to. It won't be worth their while ignoring me.'

They'll file you in the same box they file all demands from people who want governmemt to save them from the consequences of their own failures, unless they think there are votes in it for them. And I really don't think there are..

Peter Mandelson has issued an apology for his association with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – after declining to do so in an interview broadcast on Sunday.

Now, I hold no brief for this slimy disgraced politician at all, but the hysteria over Epstein is really starting to aggravate me now.  

The Labour peer, who was sacked as US ambassador when details of his support for Epstein emerged in September, gave an interview to the BBC in which he suggested that as a gay man he knew nothing of the disgraced financier’s sex life.

And yes, this is exactly the sort of absurd identity politics that you can expect from  a former member of Blair's cabinet. 

On Monday night, Lord Mandelson apologised “unequivocally” for associating with Epstein after his conviction.

In a statement, he said: “At the weekend, I gave an interview to the BBC. In answering questions about my association with Jeffrey Epstein I did not want to be held responsible for his crimes of which I was ignorant, not indifferent, because of the lies he told me and so many others. 

And if anyone should be able to spot lies, it should be you! But forcing someone to recant a friendship is like something from the dark ages...

“I want to say loudly and clearly that I was wrong to believe him following his conviction and to continue my association with him afterwards. I apologise unequivocally for doing so to the women and girls who suffered. 

“I was never culpable or complicit in his crimes. Like everyone else I learned the full truth about him after his death. 

“But his victims did know what he was doing, their voices were not heard and I am truly sorry I was amongst those who believed him over them.”

It's ridiculoius that these mea culpas tske up valuable news time and newspaper space, and that they are demanded at all. And why does no-one ever have the courage to refuse to do them?

If Not, Then When Is?

 

Because we've tried singing 'kumbayah', and futile weapon bans, and curtailing our freedoms, and turning our events into rings of steel and frankly, none of it's worked.

Children, Holocaust survivors, religious leaders all have had their fundamental right – to life – abridged by a father and son on a mission. Because they were Jewish. No more, no less – just because of their faith.

And also because of the terrorists' faith. There's no getting away from that.  

And in this initial period, I know what it is not time for.

It is not time to blame Anthony Albanese for failing to do what Benjamin Netanyahu or some in the Jewish community demanded. It is not time to stifle criticism of Israel under the guise of stopping antisemitism. It is not time (yet) to investigate the possible failings of our intelligence services in anticipating and stopping this. It is not time to ban protests and shy away from our international obligations. It is not time to dilute democracy with overreach laws. And it’s certainly not time to politicise by introducing an immigration system based on religion.

How fortumate  that it's 'not time' for you to stop anything the Left is fixated on, eh?

May we rise above this horror and national shame to be a better and stronger country. Where there is less dispute and more conversation. Less hatred and more compassion.

The hatred is all coming from one side, David, so good luck with fighting it with the usual performative theatre ands useless gestures targeting the tools and not the specific hands eager to wield them against their religious enemies wherever they are.

 Who'd be a Food Standards Inspector these days? You need a strong stomach.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said its National Food Crime Unit (NFCU) investigators working with the Metropolitan Police, discovered the meat during a raid in Deptford on 5 December. 

The 57-year-old man was arrested and later released under investigation.

But he's not named. Of course not, because this isn't the usual case of meat of dodgy origin.

...38kg of illegal frozen bushmeat, including pangolins, cane rats and porcupines, at a site in south-east London.

I love exotic food but I'd give this a miss...

The watchdog warned that meat brought into the UK illegally bypasses required safety and hygiene checks and could carry diseases or contaminants. It added that some species, such as pangolins, are critically endangered and banned from commercial trade worldwide. Simon Ashwin, senior investigator at the FSA’s National Food Crime Unit, said: “This operation forms part of the NFCU’s ongoing work to disrupt the illegal meat trade and prevent unsafe products from reaching the public. “The FSA advises consumers not to buy or eat illegally imported meat, including bushmeat, as it may pose serious health risks. If you have concerns about products being sold, contact your local authority.

“We remain vigilant to the threat of illegal meat entering the food chain and will continue to take action to protect the public.”

A newly qualified doctor who pocketed £10,000 in benefits while studying medicine has been suspended from treating patients. Dr Ramkali Kaur, 28, illegally claimed housing benefit, income support and carer's allowance for two years while completing her five-year degree at Queen Mary University of London.

And when she was caugght bang to rights, she simply hastily donned the Cloak of Victimhood!

She later lied about the fraud to a senior consultant and attempted to shift the blame onto an 'overbearing' female relative, alleging the woman promised to cancel her welfare claims but instead let them run on and even intercepted her post.

Yeah, yeah, tell us another one… 

A Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service panel has now found her guilty of misconduct and suspended her for four months, despite her protestations that she had been the victim of family pressure and financial hardship.

In her evidence, Kaur told of her upbringing in a deprived area of Birmingham and how she had been the only one in her family to be accepted into a 'prestigious and highly competitive' Grammar School.

A ‘deprived’ area, eh? 

For the GMC Ms Lousie Cowen said: 'Dr Kaur's conduct was of a repeated nature and showed a reckless disregard for professional standards. Her dishonesty was significant and she has provided only limited evidence of remediation, having not attended any courses on probity.'

Would any courses have workedon someone like this anyway? 

But Kaur's counsel Mr Andrew Faux said: 'This is a young doctor from very challenging background who has clearly made mistakes and had to grow up very quickly in the face of those mistakes.She then put her head in the sand and hoped things would go away, a response that continued through until the meeting in October 2022. The risk of Dr Kaur repeating her actions is low.''

Just the sort of attitude you want in a doctor - just ignore reality and ir'll go away! 

Monkey Business...

An ex-keeper is suing Edinburgh Zoo bosses over alleged discrimination and "humiliation" she faced at work as a result of her ADHD. Lisa O'Hare appeared at the Edinburgh Employment Tribunal on December 1.She claimed she was subjected to "degrading" treatment and "excessive scrutiny" aimed at "constructing a case against" her. Ms O'Hara resigned from her post in February 2025 after starting in the role less than a year prior in April 2024.

It should be an open and shut case, because she sounds like a fucking nightmare to have had to work witrh, but you never know with tribunals... 

Ms O'Hara was assigned to care for primates at Edinburgh Zoo and the court heard she had difficulty identifying individual capuchin monkeys due to her ADHD, which her superior took issue with.

Zoo bosses claimed identifying individual animals is a vital part of a keeper's job to ensure animal health and wellbeing.

Why do I suspect that the welfare of the animals will take second place when the 'disability' card is played? With the tribunal, anyway, the zoo management and her workmates thankfully weren't happy to put up with it. 

Court documents showed Callum Gibson, Ms O'Hara's superior, said: "You have to start taking responsibility for yourself with training. It is not the rest of the team's responsibility to help you with this. There is only so much I can do to support this before you need to take ownership and communicate with others".

Ms O'Hara told the court: "I just didn't feel, given how it was a particular problem for my disability" how there couldn't be more flexibility, adding: "I felt it was unequally applied to me than others" and "there were other individuals" on the team who could identify the capuchins.

Maybe there were, but it was YOUR JOB to do so, not theirs!

She also alleged her colleague Kenna Valles repeatedly made critical statements regarding her timekeeping ability. In one instance, documents showed Ms Valles allegedly said "I'm just waiting on Lisa" in a "sardonic" tone. Ms O'Hara felt this showed her co-worker was "outwardly expressing annoyance with my disability and related difficulties with timekeeping" and "mocking my disability [and related issues] with timekeeping and hyper focus" resulting in "negative treatment and frustrations".

Are the other employees supposed to put up with someone who is continually later for work then? 

A solicitor representing the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, owners of the zoo, mentioned that five employees had lodged complaints against Ms O'Hara.

Seems they weren't prepared to, yet they didn't have a Disability Card to wave.

If The 'Mail' Can Trace The Mutt, Why Can't The Met Police? ...

The Cane Corso that savaged a Jack Russell belonging to the Queen's son guards a £30 million mansion owned by the glamorous ex-wife of a controversial Chinese mining tycoon, the Daily Mail can reveal. Maud, a two-year-old terrier owned by Tom Parker Bowles, was left fighting for life after the 10-stone mastiff tore into her on Kensington High Street last Thursday. 

...a Daily Mail investigation has traced the brute to a luxury mansion on one of Britain's most expensive streets - where Chinese businesswoman Maria Leung keeps two Cane Corsos as protection animals.

Strange that the Met Police couldn't track down a dangerous dog right under their noses, isn't it? Especially since if the mutts are registerd guard dogs, these are covered by strict regulations which have clearly been broken here, 

Local walkers say the hound is well-known in the area as guard dogs kept within the property's walled garden. The handler who was seen with the animal during the mauling was again observed taking the Corso out this week, often accompanied by another member of staff.

And yet they are clearly unable to control the four legged buglar deterrants. Shouldn't police be concerned? 

It's not helpful that the victim is such a limp rag, spouting dog nonsense usually spouted by the enthusiasts for these violent breeds, despite his ordeal and the almost-loss of his pet: 

Parker Bowles said he was 'a firm believer that there's no such thing as a bad dog, rather a bad owner' and did not want the dog responsible to be put down 

But he called for restrictions on Cane Corso-style dogs, saying: 'What I do want, though, is these big, powerful and often beautiful dogs to be muzzled when out in public. Is that too much to ask?''I'm certainly not a fan of knee-jerk legislation, of banning certain breeds, or having them destroyed. I'd much rather put the responsibility on the owner. 

'If you cannot control your dogs, or train, walk and look after them properly, then you have no right to own a dog. It's as simple as that.'

Well, Tom, now you know the mutt is owned by a citizen of a country that's an enemy of the UK, instead of the usual brain-dead chav,  perhaps you'll show a bit more backbone. 

Cane Corsos have increasingly become known as 'status dogs' since it was made illegal to own the XL Bully breed in 2023 without an exemption certificate.

As was predicted here. 

In September, Conservative MP Gregory Stafford asked whether the breed should be prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act, but the Government said it had no plans to do so.

No, it's far too busy regulating those far more dangerous things than 7 stone killer dogs - wetwipes and milkshakes. 

They Think They Are Above The Law...

A police chief constable has been found guilty of contempt of court with judges set to consider whether he should be punished by imprisonment or a fine.

How about both?

The court of appeal ruled on Tuesday that Northamptonshire police were in contempt and had been “willfully disobedient” for repeatedly failing to obey rulings to hand over video to a woman who complained she had been wrongly arrested by three officers.

Dumb, really dumb, since the one thing guaranteed to provoke today's oh-so-sympathetic-to-the-criminal-classes bewigged social workers to get their Judge Dredd on is people cocking a snook at the might apparatus of the law.... 

Nadine Buzzard-Quashie was arrested by Northamptonshire police in September 2021, triggering a four-year saga. She was taken into custody but prosecutors soon dropped the case. The judgment said: “Her account of her arrest … was that she was physically assaulted by the officers who arrested her, she was physically thrown to the ground and had her face pushed into stinging nettles.”

I'm guessing by the name, she wasn't one of the favoured classes, and so assaulting her was of course not considered a problem?  

She wanted video footage of her arrest, including from police body-worn cameras, which the force did not provide. She complained to the Information Commissioner’s Office which made an order that all video should be handed over, which the force ignored, then a county court judge made another order, which the force failed to obey again. The force told courts it did not have any more video to hand over, then reversed its position at a hearing in October. The court of appeal judgment said: “This means that all the statements made to the court on behalf of the police force prior to mid-October 2025 were false.”

Ooops!  

On Tuesday three appeal court judges issued a blistering and unanimous ruling. Lady Justice Asplin, Lord Justice Coulson, and Lord Justice Fraser said “misleading and untrue statements … have been made to the court on behalf of the chief constable, both to the county court … and also to the court of appeal in relation to the application for permission to appeal and the appeal itself. To list every single statement made on behalf of the chief constable that has proved to be inaccurate over this lengthy period would lengthen this judgment considerably.”

Ouch!  

Ivan Balhatchet has been Northamptonshire’s chief constable since October 2023 and could face up to two years’ imprisonment or a fine. The previous chief constable was Nick Adderley, who now faces wholly separate criminal charges.

The whole force is clearly rotten from the very top - maybe disbandment should be considered?  

Fledgling Karen Is Paraded As Mouthpiece By Cynical Pressure Group...

A 17-year-old girl who says she was exposed to horrific images and videos including porn, a shooting and a beheading on a smartphones during the school day has joined a legal action against the education secretary.

Did she come into her school and show them to her then? No, Reader, she's simply failed to ban them, preferring to let heads take the decision they think fit.

Flossie McShea, from Devon, says she also received threatening messages while at school, as she put her name to a judicial review in an attempt to get smartphones banned in schools in England.

Did she do this entirely off her own bat, I wonder, or was she coerced into it? Sounds a bit like grooming to me. 

Will Orr-Ewing and Pete Montgomery first notified the education secretary, Bridget Phillipson, in July that they would pursue legal action, arguing that current guidance, which allows headteachers to decide how smartphones are used, is unlawful and unsafe for children.

Mainly because of the children themselves: 

“Videos were going around all the time,” McShea recalls of her time at secondary school from year 7 onwards. “My parents were strict at home but at school people can airdrop you videos or show you their screen without invitation, to see your reaction. “My school had a ‘see it, hear it, lose it’ policy, but in reality we just used them under the desk, in the toilets, during lunch break, in the playground, on the bus, even in the corridors. It was impossible for the teachers to stop us.

Just as it'll be impossible for this legislation to ever stop them - they'll just do it outside of school. After all, if they have someone's phone number, they can reach them from anywhere in the world.

“The thing that affected me the most was a video of two young children playing with a gun. One shot the other accidentally and she died. We were getting off the bus and a friend came over to me with it on her phone. I had to go home early that day. I was so shocked I couldn’t sleep. I still think about that video three years later.”

Sounds to me as if your main beef is with your so-called friend. Maybe choose better friends?  

James Gardner of Conrathe Gardner LLP, acting for the claimants, said: “The government is well aware of the serious harms caused to children as a result of smartphones in school settings. They had a golden opportunity to put it right with a national ban when they issued safeguarding guidance this autumn – but they decided to ignore the problem once again. Bridget Phillipson is putting the nation’s children in harm’s way.”

Translation: 'Money and fame, give it to me!'

And the fanatical bloodsport dog lovers have a ready excuse - this time 'it was the fireworks that did it!'

Officers and paramedics attended a property on Crossway in Rogiet, near Caldicot, Monmouthshire, at about 18:00 GMT on Sunday. The dog was seized and removed from the address, according to Gwent Police, with officers working to establish the breed of the animal. Ch Supt John Davies said: "Officers are on scene and will be making further inquiries as the investigation progresses." No arrests have been made.

WHY NOT! Even if not a banned breed (and it did indeed turn out to be another killer bully), as is quite likely given Wales seems to have a predilection for the things, leaving a child unattended with a dog is clearly child endangerment, isn’t it?

But the Miss Marples and Hercules Poirots of the canine fancy are on the case, ready to exonerate poor Fido:

A “panicked” dog killed a baby after being spooked by fireworks in a Welsh town, it has been claimed.The dog reportedly became agitated by fireworks in a nearby field and went for the baby, Rogiet residents explained to The Sun.Caroline Knight told the newspaper: “Someone was letting fireworks off near the house and the dog was agitated by them and must have panicked and gone for the baby.Another neighbour recalled how there had been “horrendous” fireworks on Sunday evening. They added: “You could hear dogs bark as well as the bangs - they could have set a dog off.”

Fireworks are going off all over the country, thanks to bloody Diwali, yet dogs aren’t savaging people willy nilly, are they? 

A family affected by tragedy has thanked the public for donating to a fundraising appeal - and urged people to show ‘respect’ during their heartbreak.“People need to be respectful," they said. "Comments online aren’t helping the situation there is a big loss in the family and everybody is trying to process what’s happening."

A fundraising appeal? 🙄 

Caldicot Town Team CIC’s Aaron Reeks said: “People should show more respect and dignity when they absolutely don’t know the full facts," he said. "I’ve been in touch with the family, and I don’t want to intrude on them at this time.

“Speculation online concerning the breed of the dog is inappropriate and unnecessary."

Ah, those modern terms that mean ‘Stop pointing out inconvenient facts’, like the sudden prevalence of bloodsport breed dogs in society, or the fact that the authorities go all softly-softly with death by dog teeth because they are as terrified of the animal lobby as a bull breed is of a Catherine Wheel…

Who was threatening violence then, chum? Who is this mysterious 'those' and why don't you simply tell the cops to crack dowwn on them?

Sir Keir Starmer called the move to block fans attending "wrong", adding "we will "not tolerate antisemitism on our streets", while there has also been criticism from other party leaders.

This is the decision to ban Israeli fans from attending a football match. Why? Well…  

On Thursday, Aston Villa said the city's Safety Advisory Group (SAG) - which advises the council on whether to issue safety certificates - decided that fans of the Israeli club should not be permitted to attend the Europa League fixture on 6 November.On Friday evening the government said it would do "everything in our power" to make sure all fans could attend the match, adding that it was exploring what additional resources were required.

Why would additional resources be required, I mean, over and above those for any other football match? Could it be that there’s a sizeable population here in the UK that can’t be expected to control themselves whern Jews are on the streets being openly Jewish? Apart from the Met Police, that is? 

We all know the real reason for this ban.  

On Thursday, West Midlands Police said it had classified the fixture as "high risk" based on current intelligence and previous incidents, including "violent clashes and hate crime offences" between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv fans before a match in Amsterdam in November 2024. More than 60 people were arrested over the violence, which city officials described as a "toxic combination of antisemitism, hooliganism, and anger" over the war in Gaza, Israel and elsewhere in the Middle East.

How many of those 60 people were Israeli fans? Or doesn’t that even matter to plod who want a quiet life? 

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch said the revelation left the Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, with "serious questions to answer" about why her department did "nothing" to avert the ban. She said: "This is a weak government that fails to act when required."

Well, you should know, I guess, Kemi.... 

A source close to Mahmood told the BBC that "this is categorically untrue".

The Met have said if the allegations are proven, it would amount to gross misconduct and she could be dismissed from her post.
