Don't shout too loudly - these things are being developed for covert surveillance.

If it isn't bad enough being watched as we travel around, you soon won't be safe in your home...

Artificial butterflies? Next thing we'll have artificial chaos. I thought we had plastic politicians for that sort of thing?

I'd think they'd have to get a lot bigger before they could carry eavesdropping equipment. That'd argue against their stealth capability, surely?

It's amazing how many new developments (particularly in robotics) are basing themselves on living organisms, isn't it?

Maybe not just yet, but the US Military have already spent $12m on developing hybrid part living, part mechanical insects....
