"I feel very sorry for the mother..."

'I'm sure any mother would want the best for her child - but it shows a lack of thought. She must feel absolutely awful.'
I bet she doesn't feel half so bad as the baby...

As it it one our continental cousins involved, you can be sure that nothing will happen, ither than maybe a personal nanny appointed to care for the child while its mother goes to cash her Giro.

Strange, yesterday the Beeb was reporting 20% sunburn.

"...(she) appeared to be drinking.
..." Aha, filthy alcohol drinker, probably a smoker too, the witch.

Well, they've given her the child back, so I think you may well be right. Me, I wouldn't trust her with a hamster...

"Strange, yesterday the Beeb was reporting 20% sunburn."

Saw a report (the 'Mail'? The 'Guardian'?) that said initial estimates were wrong because the sunburn 'continued to develop' after the baby was seen by medical staff.

Naming the little bugger Cosmo is borderline child abuse nevermind the sunburn. Mind the kid is probably better off being looked after by bad parents like these than it would be in the care of social workers.
