Yet Another Special Identity Group Needs Resources!

Julie Bindel has identified another one desperately requiring special protection; female college students.

There's not a lot to say on it that hasn't already been admirably covered by Ross or Edwin, but I did like this little snippet from the end:
My friend Alice Vachss, a former sex crimes prosecutor who has done exemplary work in the US on campus sexual assault response, says that if she could change only one thing, it would be to increase the consequences for friends and allies of the sexual aggressor who harass, taunt and threaten women trying to come forward with a complaint.
Odd. I thought the one thing the progressives hated was any sort of consequence arising from one's actions. I guess it depends on who they are applied to...

Hmm, guilt by association. I like it. That means because of the Holomodor, the Gulags, Stalin's purges, the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution, the Cambodian genocide and the ongoing famine in North Korea we get to line Julie Bindel up with all the other socialists and machine-gun them until they explode.

How I wonder ? Platoons of dungareed, crop haired, feminist vigilantes toting guns and yelling 'Make my day, punk!'? How very retro !

I already mentioned on Dick Puddlecote the article by fashion writer turned social commentator Hadley Freeman on CiF. Hadders was emphatically stating that New York State HAD to pass the same sex marrige bill.

Another case of a 'liberal' despising democracy. A friend in upstate New York tells me a majority of New York's voters are fine with civil partnerships but against forcing churches (but not mosques of course) to marry same sex couples.

It's always so one sided with these tolerant liberals.

They can't argue about it being used against them, can they, when they argued for it?

Well, they can, but who'll listen?

I'm sure her author husband could provide some suitably gruesome methods from his novels...

"Another case of a 'liberal' despising democracy. "

Yup, I saw that. It seems to be a significant factor in a lot of US liberals' disenchantment with Obama too.
