Letting The MONA Side Down Somewhat…

A teenager has been arrested after two men were allegedly threatened with an imitation pistol in Epsom.

John Arthur, 39, of Worcester Park, and his friend Rob Betts, 42, were walking to catch a late night taxi in Epsom High Street on Wednesday, June 8, when the incident happened.

Mr Arthur said the assault took place near McDonalds shortly before 1am.

He said he managed to wrestle the man to the ground, although he subsequently escaped while they were waiting for police to arrive.

Mr Arthur said: “My friend screamed out for help so I grabbed his arm and put him in an arm lock and got him onto the ground.”
There’s no description of the assailant, so we…

Oh, wait.
Muzi Mguni, 18, from Rother Crescent, Crawley, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear.
That’s not how you play the game, ‘Kingston Guardian’!

Obviously an unrefined gentleman; fitting no particular description other than what is implied by a name of Zimbabwean origin.

Things must be bad when such things have spread to leafy Epsom...

I thought we had outlawed imitation firearms. Yet I have an air-pistol in my possession that spews out 15 metal rounds and looks entirely like a standard automatic pistol. So much for our legislators yet again. Perhaps this gentleman painted himself black whilst disguising one of the garish BB guns to which idiot onceNunowBlueLabor legislation does apply?

What was a nig-nog from Crawley (Sussex) doing in Epsom (Surrey) at that time of the night/morning?

`Muzi Mguni` is clearly some sort of poor anagram for `Uzi Gun`. Bloody thick Kingston Guardian journo's.

Crawley isn't far from Epsom and it is overrun with persons of indeterminate ethnicity (in addition to Islamist bomb makers). One of the reasons I left Blighty for one of her colonies.

Sadly, Epsom (and I know the area very well, particularly Ewell) has become another victim of drinks culture and the 'no consequences' justice system in the last few years...
