No-One Told Them The Party’s Over…

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs handed Linstock Communications over £45,000 to raise awareness of the new law among travellers.

It incurred the huge bill despite having a large public-relations team of its own.
This is despite the fact that travellers just ignore any laws they don’t feel like complying with anyway.
North Lincolnshire Council’s Trading Standards is to advise takeaway owners about how they can reduce the amount of salt and saturated fat in the food they sell.
Despite the fact that, as Leg-Iron points out, the wheels appear to be coming off that initial ‘salt is bad!’ theory thanks to new research.

Why, you'd almost think we never had a change of government at all, wouldn't you?

We haven't had a change of government, as others have pointed out. We had red-flag-flying-high socialists as opposed to the new, deep-blue socialists, having narrowly avoiding voting in the nimby-yellow-is-the-liver socialists.

Salt? Global warming? Smoking? Immigration? EU control? It's all the same when government gets in.

There was a change of government, the problem is the liberal lefties that got into the key jobs after the 1997 election. And probably before.
