“Supervise My Own Children? How Very Dare You!”

She asked Lewes Town Council to change the railings so it could not happen again, but said she was told by a council clerk “the likelihood of a child of Freddie’s size simply falling through without lodging part-way is extremely remote.”
In an email shown to The Argus, the clerk added the staircase “cannot be modified to meet modern regulations, as it is a nationally significant example of Jacobean workmanship.”
He added wedding officials planned to avoid using the landing where possible and would advise guests about supervising children.
*sharp intake of breath*

The primary job of a parent is to supervise their offspring, seems like this is a job that this parent is failing at.

'211 is quite correct; most parents of younger children seem to have abdicated responsibility for their offsprings' welfare and behaviour.

As 211 and Ted have said the parents have given up on their responsibility and we all know just where that is very likely to lead - children going into state institutions from birth, not a very pleasant outlook but one that could happen if marxist PC SJWs have their way.
