Reprehensible it may be, but Tate’s baseless misogyny and “me-first, get-yours” narcissism is alluring to young men at a time when mainstream culture is telling them to check their privilege for reasons they don’t fully understand.
Well, perhaps, then, the culture should stop telling them that?
We can’t afford to be English about this sort of thing.
On the surface, Tate preaches hard work, determination and “no excuses”: values my cousin probably sees as parallel to the philosophy of our Nigerian immigrant family.
My friends and I didn’t get any proper education about sex, consent or relationships until we were 13, by which time we had learned it all from internet porn and lads’ mags. Teachers and parents have to be proactive about telling boys what mutually respectful sex is before they’re exposed to something else all together.
So it's only males that need to be taught this?
My cousin’s had a tough time recently, riven with personal and professional insecurity, amped up by a pandemic and a recession. In that context, I understand Tate’s appeal – an alternative lifestyle guru, saying get yours, before someone else takes it.
Sounds familiar. Where have I heard that before?
Oh, yes! Of course! Rap music. Say, why does that get a pass, while you focus on one lone white man, Sacha?
All true, plus note that when his cousin is complaining about being discriminated against on grounds of race we need to take the super-seriously, but when it's on grounds of sex? Well, that's just crazy talk.
I’ve said it before …
Non sequitur? The overwhelming majority of those diagnosed as malignant narcissists are men (so much so you'd be hard-pressed to find a single woman thus diagnosed in the whole country). Why, how could that be? Look (honestly and impartially) at the clinical definition of malignant narcissism and you will understand.
The startling and uncomfortable fact is that the behaviours and mental processes described as pathological and a danger in the tiny minority of men exhibiting them are … the exact same ones exhibited by … the majority of women. That’s right, men are dangerously mentally ill and a threat when they … act like the majority of women do.
“Tate’s baseless misogyny and “me-first, get-yours” narcissism …”
So, there we have it. Tate’s real ‘crime’ is that he is a white male acting like the majority of women and minorities do. Attacking, vilifying, demonising and undermining the other sex and or races, whilst profiting from doing so, is ‘only’ allowed if you’re a woman or an ethnic.
It’s not that misogyny and narcissism are suddenly seen as attractive to more and more boys and men, it’s that they (finally) see those things are rampant in everybody else, and they are no longer willing to be denigrated and disparaged for … being the ‘only’ demographic ever to ‘not’ be narcissistic and entirely self-absorbed hypocrites.
The (leftist) crime is not that boys/men are actually misogynistic and narcissistic, it’s that they are no longer allowing “women and minorities” to treat them as second-class citizens unanswered. And that terrifies them (because like ‘good’ socialists everywhere, they ‘can’ only exist by living as parasites off others).
The hilarious thing is that the matriarchy and ethic supremacists will double-down (it’s all they know to do) and this can only result in more men being red-pilled. And … women and minorities will, for once, actually be ‘hardest hit’ (and a more deserving bunch I cannot imagine).
[I’d say I was concerned and sympathetic for the tiny minority of ‘normal’ women and minorities who don’t act this way, but since they have chosen to quietly benefit and tolerate it I’m not. I’m really not!]
"...but when it's on grounds of sex? Well, that's just crazy talk."
Expecting logical consistency from them is an exercise in futility.
"The overwhelming majority of those diagnosed as malignant narcissists are men (so much so you'd be hard-pressed to find a single woman thus diagnosed in the whole country). Why, how could that be?"
That's a pretty good point. So much for 'equality'...
