And Obama's Not Much Of A President, Either...

The growing rift between the White House and Fox News has deepened after Rahm Emanuel, President Barack Obama's chief of staff, said the channel was "not a news organisation."
Not that that'll stop them appearing on it, of course...
Still, Mr Axelrod said administration officials would appear on the channel. He shrugged off News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch's remark to shareholders last Friday that since the White House began criticising Fox News commentators their ratings have risen.

"You know, I'm not concerned. Mr. Murdoch has a talent for making money, and I understand that their programming is geared toward making money..."
The other channels, presumably, are doing it out of love.

Everything loves Obama, right? What possible reason could someone have for not loving him?....

Fox is eating the other networks' lunch over this. And the sight of Obama throwing his rattle out of the pram at the first sign of criticism is not going to play well with the voters. If anyone can screw this up it's the terminally stupid GOP, but if they manage not to step on their own dicks then the bloodbath come 2010 should be amusing to watch.

No, his ratings are dropping like a barometer in a storm.

But the GOP should really be getting their act together and making the most of this. It might not last.
