Well, As The Snow Recedes, At Least The Police Won't Be Troubled With...

...something they clearly feel is beneath them - youths throwing snowballs:

Lucky those little scamps having fun in the snow never leads to more serious things, eh?

Oh. Wait.
Mr Cox said he was now recovering, but had struggled to eat due to cuts on the inside of his mouth.
"I don't know what sort of world we're living in. I've lived here for 49 years and nothing like this has ever happened before," he said.
Mrs Cox said: "At first I was angry, but now I just feel jumpy and restless every time someone goes by. I've never been nervous before in my own house."
But what do you expect youths to do when it's snowing, Mrs Cox?

Snowballs go better with rocks inside.

A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: "This was a nasty attack on an elderly man and we would appeal for anyone with any information about it to come forward."

I think if Northamptonshire Police check their computer they'll see the victim already did that. I suppose though, this being a major incident n'all, it's taking time to ramp up the investigation.

Well done Julia. The whole country was under several feet of snow for a week and you managed to find one incident that proved your point. So because of that one involving yobbery we should have responded to every call regarding snowball throwing. Please explain what law they are breaking.
Jaded.

It's quite unfashionable to state that some humans would be best deployed in labour camps. If it hadn't been for those pesky Germans!

Before I am accused of Nazism, let me point out that I hail from a country built on convict sweat (and quite perversely, some consider it an honour to have bread thieves as ancestors. Oh well).

We as a nation are blessed with a number of islands which would benefit from Man's endeavours. Perhaps an academy might be formed on St Kilda to foster the next James Anderson?

That might justify armed response!

Quite!

"...and you managed to find one incident that proved your point."

One incident? No, no, hardly so.

As for what law, well, you never seem to have too much trouble finding one when you really need to, do you?

"We as a nation are blessed with a number of islands which would benefit from Man's endeavours. Perhaps an academy might be formed on St Kilda to foster the next James Anderson?"

It seems a bit harsh on the seabirds...

We have just got rid of the last lot, and NOW it is snowing AGAIN here!
