It's A Good Start....

A woman has denied child neglect after a baby fell from the first floor window of a block of flats.
Karen Sennett, 31, was arrested on August 5 after the child plunged from an open window of the flat in Rainham, Kent.
The defense should be interesting...

Such alarming events, which are by no means rare, will arise as a result of underestimating a toddler's crawling and climbing potential.

The allegations of child neglect should be pursued carefully since many a devoted and innocent Mother will readily assume blame in a damning, plod-guided statement devised at the time.

I really do hope that everything turns out OK for all concerned.

My one year old climbed thirteen feet on internal burglar bars on a bay window. Fortunately she hung on until I had organised a ladder. She was also ahead of the adults on childproofed stairs and childproof containers. The abilities of a bright and determined tot which expand daily frequently exceed the expectations of responsible adults.

I suspect you didn't raise a child.
