Nice of them to explain that the pistol in the illustration is not a revolver but it is not as though they are especially rare and surely a decent photo library must have a picture of one? You can fire a shotgun round from a Le Mat pistol but these are so rare and unusual that you are more likely to be injured by a .303" Bookworm (although clearly not in his case as he'd probably break all his fingers trying to open a book...)
The shotgun reference might not be inappropriate -search for "S&W Governor". It's a .45 revolver that will also chamber .410 shotshells. Handy piece of kit.

Aye. O.K. Maybe "Clean off" was a bit exagerated. But I doubt he would survive. IF properly placed!
(I HAVE used a large variety of weapons before. I KNOW what they can do.... ;-) )
