Doesn't Look The Type...

A self-proclaimed misogynist with a history of violence against women has been banned from accessing 'incel forums' and loitering near female toilets.

And no, it's NOT a tranny, although it might as well be...

The 29-year-old self-described misogynist and member of an online incel group received the order at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court after he persistently breached the terms of several Civil Orders.
He is now prohibited from using any computers or mobile devices that can access the internet.

A good idea? Yes, undoubtedly! But wait...

But Valentine can still access the internet if he notifies the police VISOR team within three days of acquiring a device and registers it with the team.Valentine must have the device's location and data on at all times and again ensure no relevant information is deleted.

By the time he's misused it, it's too late, isn't it, for the victim?  OK, you'll have the evidence, but so what? We have a prison space crisis, so he won't be put behind bars anyway.

In addition to the terms of the order, Valentine is not allowed to enter, use or loiter near any female toilets, changing rooms or women only spaces.
Detective Sergeant Paul Howell said: 'Valentine is well-known for his misogynistic hostility and violence towards women, and we are pleased to have secured this SHPO against him.
'Even though Valentine has not been convicted of any sexual offences, this is a preventative measure to keep women and girls in the county safe from harm.

Have you got the Social Media Flying Squad on it, then? However will they find the time for this as well?

'This order will reduce Valentine's ability to further explore his ideology and gives police the opportunity to monitor his behaviour in the community to help reduce his risk of further offending.
'Tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) is a priority for Gloucestershire Constabulary and we will do all we can to prevent crimes, bring offenders to justice, and protect women and girls.'

Really? It's not as though you've got a spotless reputation in that field, although you've gone overboard at times, is it!

'...And Then To Solve The Chicken Loss Issue, Mr Reynard Will Guard The Henhouse!'

So while new and deeply disturbing revelations of widespread and illicit ‘family voting’ in Birmingham during May’s local elections will leave many Britons appalled, they come as no shock to me. As revealed by the Daily Mail in a damning report yesterday, at recent elections Birmingham City Council staff witnessed attempts to get round the secret ballot at no fewer than 50 of its polling stations.
Beleaguered electoral officers had to repeatedly tell voters it was against the law to enter a booth with a relative and tell them how to vote. Others witnessed one man trying to influence voting through ‘Islamic gestures, blinking eyes, hand signals’, and another clutching ‘all the poll cards’ for his family and ‘advising’ each on how to vote.

Well, then why were these people not simply ejected from the polling station and refused a vote?

But, as I said at the time, what is going on is nothing less than an assault on, not just our democracy, but Britain itself. We are facing a major problem in this country, one which threatens to strike at the heart of everything we hold dear. It’s time to wake up and act. And I’m not alone in issuing this urgent clarion call. The official – and independent – election observer group Democracy Volunteers said it witnessed 291 potential breaches of the secret ballot across the UK at the May elections.

And what action was taken?

In February, Greater Manchester Police took no action after saying it found ‘no evidence’ of the law being broken.

They didn't find any, or they didn't look at what was found?

You can bet that if this is happening in Manchester and Birmingham then it will also be going on in Bradford, in Oldham, in Blackburn and in London, entire cities where elections are being rigged along sectarian lines.

But it seems that not only is the blatent disregard for voting law countrywide, so too is the police disinterest, at least until the pressure grows too strong to ignore...

We are never going to save Britain if we don’t first safeguard our precious democracy. To do that, I believe the Government urgently needs to take three steps. The first is to dramatically restrict postal voting.

It should never have been expanded further than the slim qualifications that once applid.

Secondly, we need to bring about an end to Commonwealth voting rights. Around 1.7million people from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica and India – who, despite the fact that they are not even British citizens, have the right to vote at British elections – have, according to the Office for National Statistics, registered to do so. It is a practice which most right-minded people would regard as absurd.

Agreed, but you're up against the establishment that sees value in granting foreigners all the leeway they can, for purely virtuesignalling reasons...

Finally, we need to take steps to ensure that what I and others witnessed in Gorton and Denton, and what has now been uncovered in Birmingham, cannot happen in the future. It saddens me to say this but if, as a democracy, that means we have to have police in every polling station standing alongside independent observers then so be it.

What use is having them there, if they are not interested in invesigating because they are as captured as the establishment??

Just Euthanise The Dangerous Bitch...

...and put the owner in jail. Or vice versa, I'm sure the NHS will assist...

A dog owner will appear in court next week after her Staffie attacked a number of dogs at Withy Grove Park in Bamber Bridge. Kimberley Bond, 51, of Grove Street, Bamber Bridge, was arrested in July and charged with being in charge of ‘a dog dangerously out of control’.

And of course, instead of ending the wothless mutt then and there, it was seized alive to soak up taxpayer cash until the trial, as if it were a vital piece of evidence....

The silver female Staffie was seized by Lancashire Police and remains in kennels pending the outcome of its owner’s court case.

And as usual in these cases, the owner had been given a chance to retain her mauler, and didn't:

The 51-year-old is further charged with failing to comply with a community protection notice in relation to the dog.
Prior to her arrest, Bond was told she must comply with a number of conditions, including ensuring that her back garden was secure, that the dog was only walked by an adult and that it remained on a 1m lead at all times, whilst wearing a Baskerville muzzle. But according to local reports, the dog continued to escape and menace other dogs in Withy Grove Park - the largest green space in Bamber Bridge and a popular children’s play area.

And so it goes on and on...

Why Our Police Farces Are Doomed...

No, not because they lost a tribunal they were bound to lose, but because they hired someone like this in the fisrt place:
A judge said it was 'unusual' that she had a pair at home but did not raise it, but added it did not 'undermine her case' as 'the duty to make reasonable adjustments is on the employer not the employee'. The judge ordered that Ms Vale's bosses should pay her £19,141 in compensation, including £15,124 for injury to her feelings.

That was the correct decision but questions need to be asked how this woman was ever employed.

Ms Vale began her employment as a victim and witness care officer at the force in a temporary role to cover a long-term absence in September 2023. She was new to policing as she 'had a background in creative arts' and had owned her own creative arts business.

You couldn’t make it up and in the UK in 2026, you never have to…

She said she was previously a self-employed artist because her ADHD made her not want to work with others. Ms Vale had only been diagnosed with ADHD via an online consultation with ADHD360 in May 2023 after her GP had refused to diagnose her because they thought it was simply 'low self-esteem'.
Upon beginning work at the police force, Ms Vale requested that she be supplied with noise cancelling headphones and informed them of her ADHD.

The ADHD that she didn’t officially have…

She requested noise cancelling headphones again after a four-week probation review in October. Ms Vale's line manager Jennie Clarke asked: 'These are noise cancelling ones not the routine ones - is that correct?
'I will be asked can I confirm why you need those as opposed to a normal headset. Let me know.'

The manager is clueless, and obviously can’t use Google!

Shortly after, in November 2023, Ms Vale had a health scare at work in which she believed she was suffering a heart attack.Ms Vale confided in a colleague who had worked as nurse during this episode that 'her GP has no awareness of what she is taking' because her health was being handled solely by ADHD360.
Ms Vale had a meeting with Miss Clarke shortly after where she disclosed her own 'doubts' about ADHD360.

Aha, the manager has learned how to use Google in the interim!

Ms Vale went on sick leave in December 2023, but when Miss Clarke wrote to the support officer to check on her, Ms Vale raised a grievance and asked not to be contacted again.

Not a serious issue, simply a delaying tactic.

She did not attend any grievance meetings and her employment ended in March 2024, although this had been the plan as the previous member of staff returned from their absence at this time.

And no doubt everyone reathed a HUGE sigh of relief.

Ms Vale then took the police force to an employment tribunal in Bristol, alleging that the staff had spread cruel rumours about her and made dismissive remarks. The tribunal concluded that the staff had actually been supportive of her throughout her employment and dismissed some of Ms Vale's claims.

And why did she lie so blatently? Why not? There are, after all, no reasons not to. There are no sanctions for frivolous claims, just as there are no sanctions for the police HR department when they hire unsuitable flakes fot temporary roles.

Can They Really, Mayor Brett?

'Tonight our Providence neighbors can breathe a little easier,' Mayor Brett Smiley said at a news conference Thursday night.

I don't think so, somehow....the police hunt for this lunatic has been characterised by the sort of Keystone Kops performance we've come to expect this side of the pond.

Indeed, if not for the help of the public, they’d still be in the dark.

Authorities had earlier said they had identified the shadowy figure caught on surveillance footage near the scene of Saturday's shooting, whose face they had been attempting to find with the help of grainy surveillance footage.

Even his own mother would be hard pressed to recognise him from that, so it’s astounding a civilian did…

The gunman who killed two students at Brown University was found dead in a storage unit as it was revealed his main target was an MIT professor he shot dead in Boston. The suspect - 48-year-old Claudio Neves Valente - was revealed to be a Portuguese national who studied at the Ivy League school in Rhode Island more than 20 years ago. After being on the lam for days, his eventual demise stemmed from a Reddit post that flagged his suspicious activity outside the Providence campus.
It was unclear what the shooter's motive was or what his relationship with Loureiro had been.

No doubt we’ll find out in due course.

We Are No Longer A Serious Country....

... and we really haven't been for quite some time.

Police say the laborious recording of so-called Non-Crime Hate Incidents (NCHIs) continues despite a recent spike in crime.
At least 6,300 NCHIs were logged last year, according to a survey. The real total is likely to be far higher because 15 of the 44 forces in England and Wales failed to respond.
However, while police tackle NCHI red tape, 'headline' crimes such as theft, robbery, criminal damage, fraud, computer misuse and violence rose by 14 per cent in 2023 to 9.6million in 2024, according to the Office for National Statistics.

And what sort of incidents are being dealt with under this useless legislation?

In one example, officers were called about a man heard singing the patriotic folk song Flower Of Scotland at an English railway station.
One householder complained after overhearing a neighbour insult her through her Ring video doorbell, while officers also recorded the incident of a caller adopting an Indian accent to order a takeaway curry.

It would be funny if it wasn't taking up valuable police time.

Shadow justice minister Robert Jenrick told The Sun, which carried out the survey: 'This is crackers. We need to scrap NCHIs altogether.'

Oh, if only your party had ever been in power, eh, Robert?

More Of This, Faster!

A police chief as (sic) torn up a diversity guide that told officers to avoid saying 'blacklisted' and 'black sheep' in case it offended anyone.

Not really a 'police chief' though, just another political appointee...

Hertfordshire's Police and Crime Commissioner Jonathan Ash-Edwards called the document 'virtue signalling' and said it would 'damage public trust and confidence in policing'. The nine-page diversity, equality and inclusion reference guide, published last year, was created by Bedfordshire Police and Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire constabularies.

Wonder how many man-hours that took, that could have instead been spent on the beat?

It called on police officers to use gender neutral language such as 'pregnant person' rather than pregnant women while it advised against using 'Christian-centric' language such as 'faith'. Mr Ash-Edwards, who was elected into his role last May, said he and Hertfordshire Chief Constable Andy Prophet shared concerns over the guide and have now 'commissioned a review of all such documents'.

So, why didn’t they do anything about it until now? What’s prompted a sudden outbreak of courage?

He demanded a return to 'common sense... when it comes to language' and told The Telegraph in a statement: 'Asking police officers and staff to use terms such as 'pregnant people' is unlikely to be seen as 'inclusive' by many women, for example.'

Indeed, and yet, wasn’t that the case last year too?

Mr Ash-Edwards said from his experience of meeting residents from diverse communities 'many Asian residents are worried about family gold burglaries, our Jewish communities fear anti-Semitic hate crimes'.
'What I have yet to hear is a call for more virtue signalling,' he said.

Well, you’re very unlikely to, nor would you have last year when the wretched thing was published. But still, I suppose, more joy in heaven, and all that…

Why Do You Wait For A ‘Specialist Dog Unit’ When You Have Armed Officers At The Scene?

Cops were forced to use batons on a pack of savage 'pit bulls' that mauled a small pet to death.

'Forced to use'...? *rolls eyes*

A small dog was killed in the horrific attack in Kinross, which left a woman and two other dogs injured. Police locked down High Street and Burns-Begg Street in the town earlier today. One local, who declined to be named, told how police officers arrived within minutes of the attack and had to use batons to get the beasts off the woman who was being dragged about the ground like a “rag doll.”

Why are they so apologetic? Why are they so bloody useless at protecting the public?

“The dogs then ran back inside the house and haven't been seen since.”
Officers were standing guard around the house and locals are being kept on the street.
Growing up, the idea that police would keep you outside your house for hours because of savage dogs would have been something that only happens in Third World countries, but I suppose that's what we are now...
Police marksmen were on ladders at the garden of the property and the dogs could be heard barking aggressively. Around five hours after the dogs launched their vicious attack shocked neighbours were allowed to return to their homes.
The four dogs were still in the living room of the house and were barking as officers stood guard outside the end-terraced property.
It's understood they will remain in their home until a specialist police unit is available to carefully remove them and take them to kennels.

You have a specialist police unit on hand with their guns. Use them.

We Can't Save You From Yourselves!

Leading the work on dangerous dogs in South Yorkshire, Chief Inspector Emma Cheney, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “The dog involved in this case has cost our force, and ultimately the taxpayer thousands of pounds.
“The kennelling cost for the dog was over £2,500, in addition to court costs, and further expense of police officers’ time, response and now the veterinary fees to destroy the dog.
“We are working hard to prevent injury from dangerous dogs to our communities but continue to need your help.
“To support us, we continue to urge owners to be vigilant and aware of your dogs, their characteristics and understand that just because your dog has been returned to you, does not label them as ‘safe’.
“As with any dog, you need to take precaution and be realistic about your dog’s ability to cause harm.”
This was the police response after an owner called them for help after her unregistered XL Bully, seized by the police and under a destruction order from a magistrate until she appealed and got it back, turned on her other dog and savaged it, whereupon she then 'was concerned for her young children’s safety.'

A situation, I can't help but feel, would have been avoided by not seizing the dog and bearing it off to kennels, but dealing with it then and there at the scene. Certainly would have saved the vet fees. How about a change of policy, Emma? I'm sure the intervening 14  years have seen an improvement in marksmanship...

I Guess, Looking At Her....

...a false claim for rape wouldn't have been believable, so a false claim of stabbing had to suffice:
Three teenagers were arrested after a 24-year-old PCSO was found with a 'serious' knife wound in her arm - but now she has been accused of stabbing herself in order to claim compensation. Olivia Morphew, 24, reported being knifed during an attack in Esher, Surrey in June 2023. Three teenage boys were arrested later that day in nearby Claygate on suspicion of attempted murder and a kitchen knife with a 9cm stainless steel blade was recovered at the scene.

Fast work for the cops!

At the time, Surrey Police said it was 'appalled' by the alleged attack. However, it's now been alleged that PCSO Morphew stabbed herself and subsequently submitted a compensation claim for her injuries.

*sighs*

The former PSCO will now appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with perverting the course of justice, fraud and possession of a knife in a public place.

DEI hires. Are any of them any good?

I Agree With Insp Gadget At Last...

...we really do get the policing we deserve (not that we all deserve it):

This was the craven response from the Met Police to one of their officers getting a criminal record for coming up against one of the urban chip-on-shoulder, rules don't apply to ME creatures that roam our streets and ride our public transport system. These are, it seems, everywhere these days.

The fuss seems to have stemmed from the fact that, in doing his job, he 'overstepped his authority', according to a judge that anyone with common sense can see has clearly overstepped his.

And instead of backing their officer to the hilt and pointing out that of course he was entitled to do what he did, the Met reflexively cringe in the face of opposition from a certain sector. And so TfL will continue to hemorrhage money and people who think they shouldn't have to do as everyone else does in a functioning society will be further emboldened, and life in the capital - and particularly commuting - gets just that little bit harder for everyone. Even the judge has to admit this:

Throughout his verdict, Judge Ikram referred to the complainant as JA and to the defendant as D.
He said: 'Whether an arrest was necessary and proportionate is an objective test, I make the following findings to the criminal standard.
'I readily find that JA was difficult throughout, she knew the inspectors were checking tickets but didn't stop as she could have, but wanted them to follow her.
'I find that she did say she'd paid and was difficult perhaps because she knew she had paid, as was later established.
'I've examined the video carefully - on examination of the video footage, she clearly has the Oyster card in her hand outreached towards the inspectors' machine.
'In having it out it appears she may well have touched the machine given the opportunity to do so.This would have been visible to D.'

Look, we've all been there. Us commuters, I mean. Is it annoying to be ticket checked twice on the same journey? Yes, undoubtedly. But are you going to solve anything by getting into a strop? No. So just tap the bloody thing again, rather than act like a giant toddler denied an ice cream!

It's always a certain demographic, too. As regular readers will know, I'm currently on jury service and have to go through a bag & body search every day. No argument, it's expected, was notified in advance, and is there for a very good reason. Last week, I witnessed a new prospective juror kick off because he’d brought in a bag of tools (hammers, chisels, etc!) so he could go to work after and didn’t want to let them take them off him and give him a receipt to claim them back after court, so simply stormed out of court. Want to guess his race?

Suspicions...

The accused female member of staff, who is a permanent employee of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, later showed at least three colleagues the footage, one of whom reported the incident.
Rebecca's family have told LBC that days later, after she was told she had been the subject of an illicit recording whilst in a severe state of distress, Rebecca attempted to take her own life. Although evidence has been made available to Lancashire Police, officers have decided no crime has taken place and will not proceed with an investigation.

When you read a story like this, that's almost unbelievable, you start to wonder what can lead to such a clear refusal to do your duty. And you start to think about other news stories you've read, which might help to cast a bit of light on this inexplicable story...

If this turns out to be the reason, and the reason should become clear as the big guns are now turning to fire on Lancashire Police:

Former Victims Commissioner Dame Vera Baird KC told of her surprise at Lancashire Constabulary's decision, citing the new law introduced in January. She told LBC: "It looks like criminal activity to me. Section 66B of the Sexual Offences Act says that if somebody intentionally shares a photograph showing that person in an intimate state, and that person doesn't consent, and the person sending it doesn't believe they're consenting, then it's an offence. It seems to be absolutely to cover this situation.
"The police really do need to think again. The public interest, seems to me, to cry out for this to be prosecuted to make the point to other people that they can trust the mental health services in the NHS, and they aren't going to be exposed in this way."

Then, the police have just made a very, very bad mistake.

Protecting And Serving Whom..?

Not the general public, that's for sure...
The majority of police forces allow trans-identifying biologically male officers to strip-search women, research has found.Of the 43 forces in England and Wales, at least 34 have either implemented the policy or intend to, a report from the Women's Rights Network revealed.

Which as many have pointed out is against the law. Self-ID does not count here, yet those sworn to uphold it are so in threall to the Stonewall trans cult they are prepared to break it.

The feminist group's founder, Heather Binning, said the guidelines would lead to 'state-sanctioned sexual assault', and police leaders had failed the public by pandering to vocal lobbyists.
'Self-identification is not UK law and women should not be paying the price for policing beyond the law,' she said.

They shouldn't but it seems they will. Why is the Home Office not weighing in on this?

Do They Even Know What 'Positive Vetting' Is In Yorkshire?

Or do they think it's something to do with James Herriot?
A misconduct hearing heard PC Christopher Ryan Hudson had been arrested twice in 2006 for setting a gazebo on fire and kicking a door.
He omitted details of arrests when applying for jobs at West and North Yorkshire Police in 2016 and 2017.

 Well, did no-one check..?

Chief Constable Lisa Winward, who chaired the hearing, found Mr Hudson's dishonesty amounted to gross misconduct and said there was evidence that suggested his omissions had been deliberate.

Ooh, she must be a detective with skills like those!

In her conclusion, she said: "[Mr Hudson] has leadership responsibilities as a tutor constable and this case does not relate to a minor isolated omission of a single strand of information on the officer's vetting forms but a number of acts of dishonesty that have been continued throughout the investigation."

Not to mention the number of acts of stupidity that occurred in the HR department...

Mr Hudson, who did not attend the hearing or offer any mitigation, was dismissed without notice and placed on the barred list.

Will anyone check that, though?

I'd Argue 'Justice' Is Exactly What You've Got...

Two police officers who followed two teenage boys on an electric bike shortly before it was involved in a fatal crash, sparking a riot in Cardiff, have been served gross misconduct notices.

This is an utter outrage. I'm not in favour of striking, but if every cop in the station where these two are based downs truncheons and walks out, I'll cheer them on...

Family members welcomed the move by the IOPC but said they still feared they might not get justice for the boys.
One member of Harvey’s family said: “If they [the officers] had not done what they did, the boys would be at home with us now. We’re happy they have been served these notices but worried that it could get blown out of the water, that there could be a cover-up. We want justice for the families.”

What about 'if they [the children] had not done what they did..'? Or if, god forbid, their parents had instilled in them some self respect and discipline?

But then, judging the area by this response, there's precious little of that to go around...

Earlier this month, South Wales police said 20 people – 17 males and three females aged between 14 and 36 – had been arrested in connection with the riot.
An open letter signed by more than 50 organisations and individuals including academics and campaigners and organised by the Cardiff Solidarity Group has called for an amnesty for them.
It says: “The unrest seen in Ely was an understandable emotional reaction to a tragedy that may or may not have been directly caused by the actions of South Wales police.”

Truly, an area/community gets the policing it deserves. So, let's see them get it. Good and hard.

Shutting The Kennel Door...

Downing Street says work is underway to try and reduce dog attacks following a spate of incidents in Greater Manchester and across the country. Now, Downing Street says police, councils and animal welfare experts are teaming up to explore ways to reduce dog attacks and promote responsible ownership.
“There have been some horrific cases and our thoughts and sympathies are with those that have been affected,” the Prime Minister’s official spokesman told PA.

...after the fighting breeds have bolted.

One thing you could do is issue stronger guidance to police farces to use the tools and opportunities they have to ensure none of these things can do it again:

North Yorkshire Police have had to evacuate a village recreation ground near Selby after a dog attacked its owner. The force said: “Police were called to Thorpe Willoughby at around 10.26am on 30 May to a report of a large, aggressive dog that was biting its owner.
"The dog was eventually contained in a high fenced area of a local park and the park was evacuated."

Great! Even the Elmer Fudds of the northern force can't miss, surely?

"Officers contacted a number of animal experts including veterinary practices, the RSPCA, local zoos and wildlife park to request assistance with bringing the dog safely under control." "
The dog, described as an American bulldog and weighing around 50 kilogrammes, was eventually sedated by a vet and safely moved to a kennel."

What a pity Shotgun Cop wasn't taking a well earned break in Yorkshire...

Police have seized dangerous dog on the loose after a teenage girl was attacked. Cops in Port Clarence were hunting the XL Bully-type breed after the 15-year-old was mauled and seriously injured on Monday night.
A spokesperson for the force has since confirmed the dog, understood to be aged between four and five, has been seized.
Cleveland Police told The Mirror on Tuesday morning that no arrests had been made in connection with the attack and an investigation is ongoing into what happened.

What more is there to 'investigate'..?

"Please Continue Your Exercises In Futility..."

Residents took to social media to warn others.
One anonymous member on a Facebook group said: “Just driving back from Hornchurch, creeping along to the Drill roundabout when I saw a group of 4 boys harassing a woman as she was walking past them.
“I had my window down as it was quite warm, and as I drove past, they chucked Lucozade in through the open window."
Another member shared that a group of boys screamed at her 82-year-old mum, and when she retaliated, they were threatened with physical abuse.

Oh, if only we had a branch of uniformed public servants who could speed to the scene to nip this sort of thing in the bud...

The Met Police spokesperson said: “We can confirm that we are aware of a group of male youths in the area of Gidea Park being abusive toward pedestrians and motorists.
"A report has been made, but there have been no arrests made.
“We urge local residents to report any instances of anti-social behaviour or crime via 101 or call 999 in an emergency.”

Why would they do that, though?

Let's Turn This Around...

John Bull, a native English community advocate on the Isle of Wight, said she doesn’t condone the attack but is deeply familiar with the tensions that permeate the case.
“The threat of outsiders coming in … brings a lot of sadness for English people who are trying so hard to hold on to what little piece of paradise we have left,” she said.
Attorneys for the defendants say it wasn’t the victim’s race that provoked them, but his entitled and disrespectful attitude.
“I am 82 years old. I have lived here for 50 years,” said Kumar Patel, a Muslim retired teacher who lives near the defendant’s family.
“I’ve learned in England, coming from the outside in, it’s a good thing to live by the people around you and not tell them to live by you and your values.”
No, it's not the latest Muslim outrage, because the 'Guardian' apparently sees no problem with that, it's a very different case.

Strange how it gets an almost sympathetic hearing, isn't it?

Why Keep A Dog And Bark Yourself?

We need to change that old saying to 'Why send armed police and not have them do their job?'

Armed officers
, with support from the National Police Air Service, detained a total of seven dogs at the scene and they are in police custody. Several road closures are in place around Gravelly Hill and officers remain at the scene.
Chief Inspector Alan Sproston said: 'Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who sadly died this afternoon.
'This incident will be concerning to the local community and I would like to reassure them that we believe all dogs have been accounted for and are in police custody.
'Our investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident remains ongoing and we would ask the community not to speculate.'

Can they speculate on why you are treating dangerous animals as human criminals, Alan? Is that all right?

Update:

It seems the police are now considering this yet another case of 'dog walker misadventure' just as last October's. The one that saw no charges brought against the owner, remember?

The Sort Of 'Child' We Can't Taser, I Suppose..?

I've no doubt...

The boy, aged just 13, was wanted by Erdington police officers for carrying a machete and breaching a criminal behaviour order.
The incident took place in the Stockland Green area on Tuesday (December 6) and upon arrest the boy lashed out attacking three officers and also damaging a police van.

And he was promptly bailed. Because he's a 'child'.
