A man has pleaded guilty to 18 offences after going on an axe rampage in which he threatened to kill two women in Billericay. Paul Hyde, 46, appeared at Basildon Crown Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to charges including assault, possessing an axe and 13 counts of causing criminal damage to properties and cars.And did he have an extensive criminal record? Hyde was remanded in custody pending a full psychiatric report for his sentencing hearing at Basildon Crown Court on June 28.I can't wait! And let's hope any sentence imposed isn't appealed later.
