And hands up those blind to Gary Glitter's impending, plod-easy arrest.

Oh, just Gary Glitter again.

what you must remember and this was said at gary glitters trial by a court usher " had gary buggered boys this would possibly have not come to court "
why is it that political correctness demands that jimmy savile can only be charged with offences against girls ? all his offences against boys are being airbrushed out, we are told the gay lobby is immensely powerful and wants no bad publicity which is why elton john and michael barrymore got away free

I wonder I'd the cops sing "Hello! Hello! He's back again" when Glitter comes into the station?

Meanwhile, back in Hollywood; am I the only person who spent the whole of the Da Vinci Code wondering why a cryptographer and an 'expert' should be so consistently and frustratingly slow on the uptake?

I mean, I know they had to make allowances for an audience who might not be well-versed in European culture and history, but willing suspension of disbelief can only take you so far.

You weren't alone Macheath, I was also distracted by the new geography of London that the film brought us.

I gave up on the follow up book at the point where it transpired that a girl who had been brought up by nuns in Italy was completely ignorant of the Vatican's Swiss Guard.

Heh! Nope ;)

"I was also distracted by the new geography of London that the film brought us."

Always an issue with US-centric productions, I fear.
