Police searching for a man who has been missing for five weeks have discovered a body.
They do
get there eventually, as we know from Croydon…
Michael Redmond, 47, who lived in The Vale, Vange was last seen on Friday July 5.
He was seen walking near the 13th hole at Basildon Golf Course on Clay Hill Lane, Basildon, but has not been seen since.
Today specialist police search officers returned to search the undergrowth at the golf course and discovered a body.
I wonder what skills
they have that the average copper lacks?

I would have thought that after five weeks, a working nose would have done the trick!
They are obviously the Golf Squad. I hear they found 118 lost balls at the same time.
Perhaps a crystal ball Julia should be part of my equipment?

Specialist coppers! It's a euphemism for having a sly round and a dodgy high iron slice. They weren't looking for a body, they were looking for their ball. Not bad work, if you can get it.

It's a conceptual task, Julia.
Given how talentless our average plod is, a minor correction is made for half of them attaining mediocrity.

Maybe he wasn't there first time around?
