Oooooh, Yeah, That's A Tough One...

...let's try "Because Churchill had a team of MPs & civil servants around him & he couldn't lock them out of No 10 while he flew the country into a bloody mountain!", shall we..?

Black Dog was forever his stalker. It sat on his shoulder and issued dark thoughts. Although flawed, he became a great man. A man of his time, no doubt.

Because Churchill knew the difference between being depressed and the sort of twat that would kill over a hundred and fifty people for no reason.

Depressed people are supposed to be able to assess situations more accurately than their optimistic friends(saw this somewhere) so Winston's blackdog helped Britain out of the catastrophe the appeasers took her ; narcissists, whether up or down, think they're more important than anyone else and might crash a plane or country given the opportunity like Hitler or other statesmen.

Maybe because in those days, triumphing over personal shortcomings was just what a man (or woman) did.

No wallowing in victim culture, like today.

This chap's considered one of the better police Tweeters too...
