Eight people have been arrested after a legal traveller site in London was raided by police.

Two cannabis farms, a puppy farm, spent shell casings and cash were found by officers who stormed the 40 pitch Thistlebrook Estate in Greenwich, this week, according to a report from the Metropolitan Police.

Well, at least someone in the Essex Farce had the balls to finally...

Detective Superintendent Jane Corrigan said: 'Today's operation highlights what can be achieved though partnership action.'

Or what can be achieved when you remember what that uniform used to stand for, anyway.

'Drugs and the associated crime that comes with them are a blight on the lives of the law abiding communities of London.

'The action we have taken this morning will significantly reduce the negative impact of the drug trade on local people in this area and disrupt the activities of both drug dealers and users alike.'
