One Sleeping Dog That Really Should Be Left To Lie...

When approached by Sky Tyne and Wear, the Malias claimed Judge Bolton’s account was “inaccurate” and said refused to comment further as they “would like to move on”.
Yes, I bet they would. But, thanks to this woman's inability to do so, it's all raked up again in the news...
Beatrice Bolton, 59, was found guilty of failing to control her dog, Georgina, who attacked her next-door neighbour. But the former judge believes her high-profile job made her a target, and said that anyone else would have received a caution for the same offence.
Anyone else wouldn't have had it all swept under the carpet and be allowed to retire on medical grounds though, would they?

She might be right, mind you, if all judges are as dim and lax as her, and we know a goodly portion of them are, don't we?

And claiming victimhood probably worked for everyone else in her court, so should we blame her for trying all the same hoary old excuses?
She told Sky Tyne and Wear how she spiralled into depression and tried to take her own life following the conviction at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court in December 2010.
Ms Bolton has now moved out of the area. She added: “I just want to get on with my life now.”
Which it why you're giving interviews, rather than going 'no comment', I suppose? Like the real victims.
