But…It Takes Two, Doesn’t It?

Council bosses are set to send a bill to the organisers of a far right protest march in Burnley – after insisting they were not welcome in the town.
So Burnley councilors’ think they can decide that, do they?
Heavily marshalled by police, with around 50 officers, police horses, riot vans and the force helicopter overhead, marchers listened to speeches outside the town’s central library on the ‘Islamification’ of Britain and access rights of Eastern European immigrants.
And why would such a heavy police presence be necessary?
Coun Mark Townsend, deputy council leader and resources cabinet member, said he was irritated the authority had been left with a bill for the demonstration.
Then, take it up with the police. I mean, we aren't talking about the useless, corrupted, hopelessly dhimmified Met here, are we?
He said: “This was not about local issues and hasn't been organised locally.
“Taxpayers’ money and police officers’ hours could have been put to much better use.
“We will now be sending the organisers a bill for some of the costs we incurred, such as putting up crowd control barriers.”
Now, why would you need crowd control barriers?
Counter demonstrators from Unite Against Fascism, North East Lancashire Trades Union Council, Lancashire Council of Mosques and East Lancs Students Against Fascism held a vigil in Hammerton Street during the march…
They are local. But I bet they won’t be getting any bills…

Breathtaking, that councillor needs matching to a lamp post.

The UK is fucked!

The conversation in the office is how screwed we all are in this country - let alone the next generation.

I have to be honest it isn't about race, it's about numbers/swamping and it's about the pernicious growth of islam.

The conversation started as a corporate message trumpeted the installation of a 'Prayer Room' complete with feet washing facilities.

One nice young woman said it was outrageous that they can't even say what it is ... a mini-mosque as Christians and Jews for example have managed pretty well over the centuries with their churches and synagogues and to date so have mozzies.

Danger level out there

Casuals have already told the council where to get off and will not pay a penny.

Anon,
Regarding the Prayer Room, it would have to be an inter-demominational one to avoid falling foul of several laws and statutes. In which case, it is open to anyone wishing to worship their own particular deity, whether it be God (the Christian one), Buddha, Jehovah, Mammon, or Simon Cowell (May the X Factor and Cheryl Cole be upon him). It follows that if those a particular religion are allowed to use this room during working hours, then everyone else has the right to do so. I would suggest you use it, regularly and LOUDLY. Also, while you're praying, the socks you have just washed should be drying nicely. Don't forget that God has a sense of humour. Why else would he have given us women? - takes one step closer to the door!

Because in this day and age right-wing bad, left-wing good. I don't support the far right, but in my experience I say that look at the arrests in these demos and the majority are usually the AFL and other pro left demonstrators. Usually because EDL and NF etc have experience of police at football matches, so when the cops say move they move. Meanwhile the lefties who are astonished that they can be told to move by the thick cops say "Why" and then kick off. Send the liberal lefties the bill

Spot on.

"Casuals have already told the council where to get off and will not pay a penny."

Good - let's see them lose taxpayer money trying to recover it though!

Quite!

"...in my experience I say that look at the arrests in these demos and the majority are usually the AFL and other pro left demonstrators. "

A fact often left out of 'news' reports... :/

But what is "Far right?"

Everything that is further right than Mother Theresas left tit gets accused of being "far right" these days. And shit sticks.

That is why, here "Pro Deutschland", "Die Freiheit", "Republikaner", even "Alternativ für Deutschland" (Out equivalent to UKIP) can get no where. Because as soon as they stick their head above the parapet, the press snipers are there with the "Neo nazi" labels.

Even when most, if not all of them, could be considered "Center" as compared to Thatcher, or Reagan.
