He Must Have Picked That Up From Television Then?

The defendant, who had no previous convictions, was arrested in May last year at his home and taken to Burnley police station where he made no comment to all questions.
He wasn't Presbyterian, shockingly...
Ahmed Nadim, for Ali, said he was socially unskilled and immature. There was no exploitation involved nor abuse of trust.
The barrister said: “He comes from a decent, hard-working background and there is nothing to suggest he has any anti-social, criminal habits.”
Really?

Here's the flip-side of the same coin.

Apparently 13 year old girls don't get the same protection or justice as their slightly younger counterparts.

Why are some barristers allowed to be economical with the truth, when making-up excuses for their client's behaviour?

Ahmed Nadim, the barrister for Ali, "said he was socially unskilled and immature". Yet the perv intereacted socially on F/book, and, was mature-enough to be a college student with lofty ambitions.

Indeed! And comments are still broken, I see.. :/

"Why are some barristers allowed to be economical with the truth, when making-up excuses for their client's behaviour?"

Because there are never consequences, so they all do it...

"Or he could have just read Nightjack's advice..."

Good point!
